Went to chiropractor that helped for a day. Have been taking Hydrocodone and Tylenol extra strength woks to help dull it. Have my wife massage my neck and I have an inversion table it helps also. I have had to go and get Steroid Shots in the neck before and that fixed it for years. |

Quoting: The_Meridian I've already taken my expired flexoril and a tylenol-3, not cutting it. Can't sleep, called off work...terrible. Magnesium malate capsules and a rechargeable massage gun from amazon for $89 Massage gun?? Have you ever had a pinched nerve? That would be excruciating. |

(It's the other side of my back/shoulder) haha awesome! Yeah deferred pain usually travels to the opposite side of the body, also good for back problems. Make sure you keep it warm now, and just rest drink water, and repeat later. I found this out when once getting trigger point massage, i started arguing with the masseuse - "NO ITS THE OTHER SIDE!" I demanded, she laughed, hit the 'spot' and bingo! glad I could help ya mate. |

Can you point to a more detailed explanation with example or video please? |

Quoting: The_Meridian I've already taken my expired flexoril and a tylenol-3, not cutting it. Can't sleep, called off work...terrible. It could be an inflamed tendon in your shoulder. I once had a condition when the tendon, which passes through a little hole in your shoulder blade became inflamed and because of the inflammation it became swollen and would rub at the bone structure of this tiny hole with every movement. Excruciating pain resulted from this tendon, (which every human being has btw), not fitting through the shoulder blade hole anymore because it is swollen through the inflammation. The doctor said that he has seen people become suicidal because of the pain of the tendon rubbing against the bone. The only cure is injecting long acting steroids with a long needle through the joint where the shoulder connects with your arm. The steroids calm down the inflammation, the tendon will fit again through the hole of the shoulder blade without rubbing at the bone and the pain will subside. Eventough it was a longer needle, the injection was completely painless and cured my condition within a week. If your pain does not go away on its own, go see an orthopedic surgeon and talk to him about the condition, where a swollen tendon will not fit through the hole in your shoulder blade and thus causing excruciating pain. |
