Rumors that there might be an additional deployment of troops from Fort Bragg. If there is any truth in it I expect it'll be officially announced tomorrow. Which because it appears that they might be using troops in Kabul that was originally supposed to Kuwait for QRF and Qatar for SIV processing we may see them sent there.

Biden admin is a tough political situation here. They don't want this to be another Benghazi but at the same time sending more and more troops identifies the miscalculations of the adminstration. Hopefully they do the right thing give the top brass what ever it they ask for the successfully get everyone out unharmed.

There is absolutely no official MSM reporting from Afghanistan. Even other countries don't have media reporting on it. It is honestly most likely due to the threat those inside Afghanistan are currently under.

Nobody is able to confirm that right now. But the unconfirmed reports I posted last night was confirmed when I woke up this morning. So most new breaking news things happening that you see posted to twitter unconfirmed are taking 6-8 hours before we see any type credible confirmation from MSM.

Part of it actually OPSEC for those there as not ever single soul on behalf of the taliban have direct communication or constant lines of communication like a modern military has. Because of this they may learn of situations and make next moves based off what they learn from the media.

One of the first things the Taliban did when they took over I believe Kandahar was take control of the radio/tv station. That serves to purposes one is propaganda and the other increase communication capabilities with its fighters spread out in the country.

Once the taliban takes over these major cities for the most part uncontested there is no need to keep a significant force there to hold said city. I would imagine that most of the taliban are quickly trying to move towards Kabul.

It appears with great confidence that the taliban have surrounded Kabul enough there the only way out is the airport. There next move is to make that airport runway incapable of being able to evacuate. Sadly I worry that the taliban are going to previous ANA trained by us fighting alongside them for Kabul.

The taliban seem to effectively said join us or die to those who was previously on our side. Which is proof that all this time they was only luke warm with our ideology and wants for them to become civilized country.

Easier said that done as it appears they are literally on top of what seems to be the few ANDSF die hards willing to actually fight the taliban. I'm skeptical that any ANDSF have means to coordinate any airstrikes using our planes because they did have their own air force but may not be much left of it by now.

Today the Taliban control more territory in #Afghanistan than they had before the US invasion in 2001. The first provincial capital fell only 8 days ago on Aug 6th and now Kabul is being reported as the only major city still resisting the onslaught.
