When I used to get colds and flus from being an unhealthy fuck I also lost my taste and smell. I don't understand why this is used a barometer for actually having covid. I really think covid is just the flu and your friends had it but were misled with faulty PCR tests. It is NOT abnormal to lose taste and smell with sickness. I also had fever and chills for an extended time.... I usually get a stuffed nose and have trouble tasting for a day or two but this was different. I had no congestion. Definitely not the regular cold or flu. |

Yes,I lost taste and smell for 14 days,it started with the shivers and then everything started to smell old socks then burnt chemicals ,then I lost both taste and smell completely, not like when you have a cold. No smell no taste what so ever. After 3 weeks I was back to normal. |

Fortunately I treated it right away (already had bought zinc ionophore and zinc) and got everything back within a day. You don't get normal cold symptoms like congestion because Covid blocks the immune response. That's why one nickname for it used to be "bat AIDS". .
