how does one test ph levels

You can buy test strips and test your saliva.

The fact that you live in America, I can guess your PH level is around 4 or 5.

Drink a bottle of lemon water everyday, but rinse your mouth afterward because the citric acid will eat away at the enamel on your teeth.

Citric acid becomes alkaline when it enters your body, but it will eat away at your teeth if you don't rinse.

Lemon water, and baking soda water will both raise your PH levels.

I prefer baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) myself.

All you need is half a teaspoon in a bottle of water, twice a day.

You can drink more plain water than that, but add a small pinch of sea salt for minerals. And drink spring or steam distilled.

Stay away from that purified crap

I've always heard it's best to test your urine as, it's not as susceptible to residuals that may be in your mouth.
(I.E., you just had some of your bi-carb water a few minutes ago and you test your saliva... You'll test with a PH of around 8 but, that's kind of a false reading)

Well the correct way of testing your pH via your saliva is when you first wake up in the morning and before you drink, eat, or brush your teeth.

You fill your mouth up with spit 2 times and spit it out. The third time you spit into a small glass or shot glass and that is what you test with a pH meter or strips.

You don't test your urine as your kidneys are what filters and flushes acids out from your body so your urine will most likely always be slightly acidic.

Best to take with a molasses/honey 1st thing in the morning before anything else, so cells will feed off the mollasses(sugar) and get shocked by the bicarb.

Interesting about the pee pee. I also heard that ingesting a ph solution is not necessarily going to affect a lot the blood ph from the GI. Though it seems obvious that diet of greens and such are good for it.
