This is so true. We’re trying to figure out a short term solution, but we’re a 2 income household; supporting not only our house, but two elderly relatives, too.

I don't know what you do for work but can one of you get a remote job? There really are so many, get your resume out to some recruiters

Yeah…we don’t take or qualify for the free “handouts.” It’s not about the affordability…it’s about having to pay for a service that’s being taken away, in order for us to work and provide.

we had the same a months ago. The daycare sent us a text saying 2 workers have covid they have to close for 10 days. Just not clear what to do to if both parents have a full time jobs

You have to figure it out. Those are your kids! Nobody is responsible for them but you!
Quit expecting that it is someone else's responsibility to watch YOUR kids.

Guess it doesn't really matter when government grows all the food... if they pay you to sit on a toilet and pick your nose all day people would consider it a legit job too.

Nooooo, you don't say. I think you're missing the point of the post; no one said it was someone else's responsibility to watch OUR kids, but we PAY them to do so, so that WE may work in order to provide a quality of life for them. I mean, would you be upset if you continued to pay your electric bill, but then the electric company said, "we don't feel well, so we're going to cut your lights (sorry if you need it to work from home)...but you still have to pay us." Guess you'd have to make your own then, eh?

We were a 1 income household. Me, and I quit to raise my kids. To say money is tight is hilarious. If you want it, you'll do it. You suffer for doing what's right, but you have to answer to god at the end of the day.


If you want a 2 income household with lots of money to spend at the mall and ditch your kids off on the public, you'll find a way to validate that choice.

It's the government doing it. They're forcing vaccines, and letting people quarantine and call off. They're destroying jobs. Businesses don't willingly go under. They don't like losing customers.

Work from home, raise your own kids....or crash / burn with the other sheep

As previously stated, it isn't about the inconvenience...its the fact the A) Yes, we are fully aware there is a shortage of staff (at the govt hands) B) We wouldn't mind raising "our own kids" 24/7 C) Define "lots of money"

We have other people (family) that depend on us. We live check to check now, and its not because we buy things "in excess" or "live beyond our means"...we have little things, like...daycare, mortgage, bills, health insurance, student loans...and a (wait for it)...strict budget. Its always refreshing to get a comment like, "figure it out" or "raise your own kids"...throw an immediate wrench into your way of life and Im sure you'll have ALL the answers.

Id expect them to not charge us...if they don't have a way to remain open for business. Why should WE have to pay for a center that is closed?

COVID19 vaccines designed to elicit neutralising antibodies may sensitise vaccine recipients to more severe disease than if they were not vaccinated.

Vaccines for SARS, MERS and RSV have never been approved.

irrespective of delivery method, may worsen COVID19 disease via antibody dependent enhancement (ADE).

This risk is sufficiently obscured in clinical trial protocols and consent forms for ongoing COVID19 vaccine trials that adequate patient comprehension of this risk is unlikely to occur, obviating truly informed consent by subjects in these trials.

The specific and significant COVID19 risk of ADE should have been and should be prominently and independently disclosed.
