FYI: I minded my own business, am against compulsory vaccination, and was sadly surprised at how eager they were for more experimental vaccinations. If there were three (3) in my 10 minutes in line, what does that extropolate to for the population at large? These people are going to get something that they don't even realize they are begging for and I am not talking about the vaccine...

They haven't started the booster program in the US yet, but like the Walgreens people were saying, it won’t be long. Two weeks is probably about right. They’ve been talking about it on the news for a while, though, and those people you saw are the true believers. They are the same people who waited in drive-ins for four hours back in January. They can’t get their boosters fast enough.

My best friend is a pharmacy tech at CVS. I can concur this is happening. Every day ppl are coming in demanding their booster shots and get angry when they cannot get them yet. Mass suicide.

A few other observations:
The folks I saw asking for booster shots at Walgreens… based on their age 60/70+ they grew up the majority of their lives with 3 networks and the nightly evening news. They likely still get their news from TV and so have been unwitting consumers of fear porn over COVID. I cannot blame them for their predicament but rather the script writers and narrative crafters who have really done their jobs to create panic about an invisible to the naked eye, perpetually mutating enemy.
And if COVID doesn’t deliver or their narrative fails, Afghanistan is their back up plan for excuses to restrict civil liberties and our constitutional rights. Just last night on his national and near daily excuse speech with no questions allowed, Biden warned us of ISIS-K - the COVID delta variant of ISIS. One way or another they will get what they want and we free people will get what we deserve if we don’t push back. There will be NO huge billboards announcing “Next Exit Fascism” - our destination will only be visible in the rear view mirror.
