I never paid a speeding/reckless driving ticket in my life until I got married, know why? I discovered that I ended up doing 3-4 days in jail for $800-$1200 worth of tickets and most of that was riding the sheriffs bus from one court house to the next. I sure wasn't clearing $100/$150 a day at the time so I was making out pretty well.
