Re: Are you willing to wait on God?
“I will show a waiting attitude.”—MIC. 7:7.

1-2. What will we consider in this article?

HOW do you feel when a package containing an item that you really need does not arrive when you are expecting it? Are you disappointed? Proverbs 13:12 realistically states: “Expectation postponed makes the heart sick.” But what if you learn that there are good reasons why the package did not arrive when you expected it to come? In that case, you would likely be patient and willing to wait.

2 In this article, we will look at several Bible principles that can help us to develop and keep “a waiting attitude.” (Mic. 7:7) Then, we will examine two areas in which we must patiently wait for Jehovah to act. Finally, we will consider the blessings that are in store for those who are willing to wait on Jehovah.
 Quoting: DGN

wait on God?

which God? Just because you have the BELIEF that your God is all there is, doesn't make it a fact.

try opening your mind.

Your God is a manager or Lord of this planet. The life within him is the real "God".

Try understanding what/who the Christ is. Not religion based Christ.

He rescued us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. 15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through him and for him. 17Also, he is before all other things, and by means of him all other things were made to exist, 18and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might become the one who is first in all things; 19 because God was pleased to have all fullness to dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all other things by making peace through the blood he shed on the torture stake, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens. notice that he created the "things". Physical. As for "the heavens" , it's vague. It likely means our solar system.

"All other things made to exist"? Exist in this physical world. He is more of an organizer than a creator. A highly advanced scientist of sorts. He creates that which is only time based.

For me, I focus on the reality and permanence of the immaterial. To each his own.

As far as the creation of man, I much prefer the creation as accounted by other ancient script. Other accounts describe the creator of the body and the creator of the life within the body as two different beings.

No doubt that Jehovah endowed his Son, as described above. He was the one crucified on the cross. Not the Christ I follow.

Just something to think about.

note the bolded portion above.

what is real has no conclusion. This is temporal, temporary, illusory. All for an experience we chose ...until "the conclusion of the system of THINGS"

if you look for these types of language in scripture, you will find it everywhere denoting the fleeting nature of "things". I guess it's exciting and all to organize matter into different forms...but...it doesn't last.

God has been asking us, "Where have you been?" If you all really ever met and stood in the Holy Presence of The One And Only True God, you would wait forever and never want to forget it. It is the greatest event that could ever happen to you all and definitely worth the wait. This is the truth.

"system of things"

165. "aion"
Strong's Concordance
aion: a space of time, an age
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: aion
Phonetic Spelling: (ahee-ohn')
Definition: a space of time, an age
Usage: an age, a cycle (of time), especially of the present age as contrasted with the future age, and of one of a series of ages stretching to infinity

conclusion ["synteleia"] of the aion is like a conclusion of a speech, i.e., not instantaneous, some time elapses-

-Until the "end" ["telos"]- which here - English and Greek- includes the idea of "purpose", and in this verse a good purpose, God's purpose is achieved.
"Jehovah" means "He causes to become".
He causes what He has purposed [all along] to become reality.

How long will God on this world?
“Now learn this illustration from the fig tree: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33Likewise also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors. 34Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
36“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken along and the other abandoned. 41 Two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken along and the other abandoned. 42 Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. this above has good intention which is to motivate the reader to better themselves. That is the point of all religion or should I say "was".

The method of motivating through guilt and pain is about to end. It doesn't work anymore for many reasons. The victim mentality just doesn't give a shite. The intelligent student sees through it and discards it.

At this point, it is merely who you have become in this life. It's done. Trying to 'hurry up' your evolution by just now starting to 'fear God' and 'be good' will do nothing for you. Acting good is merely a tool to becoming 'good'. It takes a very long time of 'acting good' for any real change to occur.

This earth school is about to separate into different classes. It will no longer be kindergarten through PHD as it is now.

The shift is going to eliminate the neanderthals which will be sent to different 'schools' for a more effective education while many advanced students will remain here for the higher education.

If fear, pain, and guilt are your motivators to 'be good', you will likely be sent to another venue in the years to come.

Thread: Are you willing to wait on God?

What would happen to the biosphere if he didn't?-

The Bhagavad-Gita is 700-verse Hindu scripture, written in Sanskrit, that centres on a dialogue between a great warrior prince called Arjuna and his charioteer Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Vishnu. Facing an opposing army containing his friends and relatives, Arjuna is torn. But Krishna teaches him about a higher philosophy that will enable him to carry out his duties as a warrior irrespective of his personal concerns. This is known as the dharma, or holy duty. It is one of the four key lessons of the Bhagavad-Gita: desire or lust; wealth; the desire for righteousness or dharma; and the final state of total liberation, or moksha.

- so the biosphere would achieve total liberation, or moksha, by ceasing to exist, perhaps ?

19. What is Jehovah gradually preparing us for now?

19 In the meantime, with every bad habit we conquer and every godly quality we develop, Jehovah is preparing us for life under his rulership. Do not lose heart, and do not give up. The best is yet to come! With a bright future ahead of us, may we continue to wait willingly and patiently on Jehovah as he completes his work!

After this I saw, and look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. 10And they keep shouting with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation we owe to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
.....“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15That is why they are before the throne of God, and they are rendering him sacred service day and night in his temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread his tent over them. 16They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore, neither will the sun beat down on them nor any scorching heat, 17 because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them and will guide them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” Rv7:9

The righteous shall live by faith. In 3rd world countries, they have to wait on Jesus and have seen the miracles much more than the 1st and 2nd world countries. We dont wait for healing, we go to a doctor. Part of the reasons for the coming trouble and tribulation is to get those that did not wait on the Lord in plenty will have to learn to wait and believe upon the Lord for the miracles he promises. And in that, Western Christians will learn to bear fruit.
