These are both very poignant analogies.

Look at it this way, right now Biden just doubled down on this utter tailspin of what is an increasingly abysmal, repugnant reputation. Even the die-hard hold-outs are starting to wince. We have more of the crowd in our favor (and growing) than we've ever had in the last 5 years, the last thing that would serve us is to give any of that goodwill up but acting rash or worse being made to look dangerous and liable.

If they come at us again even harder we will only gain in our solidarity and help cement those bonds for if and when the hammer does drop and we are truly forced to act in defense of our rights for our communities and families...
