Yesterday gov estimated 20:00 local time today 9/21 which is in 3 hrs and near sunset time

I do not have updated estimate but they acknowledge "sooner rather than later"

I was seeing reports 2 hours ago of lava travelling at 200m/sec with 3 miles to go. If that data is accurate and the speed remains constant, approx. 24 hours minus 2.

Just been up on my roof terrace can't even see anywhere near La Palma now there's so much smoke, ash, dust whatever. Throat feeling a tad sore. Wind is blowing this thing directly to us right now.

Did that with the building eqs also, the one chart graph that had all the bubbles on it showing depth each day.. It would pulse all day long, then sleep....until magma found a tube & hit the surface. If that's the continuing trend, may not be much longer after all.

The eruption continues with lava fountains from the new vent that opened last night and continuing lava flow emission. During the past hours, volcanic tremor has increased significantly, suggesting that output rate has increased or something else is changing. It will probably become clearer in the next hours what is happening.

There are concerns that the eruption is still far from stable and yet more vents, possibly further north could open up. Inflation has been continuing and reached 30 cm in places, sign that magma is still pressurizing and accumulating underground.
