I have family on east coast...should I be alerting them to this?

I lived close to Mt. St. Helens in 1980 when she went
off. Most of the quake swarms were between 2 and 3pt.
so it doesn't take much to LET LOOSE!

how many quakes in the last 24 hours?

I have family on east coast...should I be alerting them to this?

Hard to tell,many under 2 mag quakes go unreported .There were almost 200 quakes in 2 hours ,so exact number could be now few hundreds

so what would constitute a concerning event...would we have to see a few hundred 3s and 4s swarming and the depth becoming more shallow?

For sure if at this rate depths will get shallower for example 4 km or 3 km then just 2 km and pressure will increase magnitudes of quakes.And when we see cracks on the surface ,ground deformation etc.This is ongoing event not sure what happens but pray nothing happens
