Exactly.

I'm no expert, but even I understand that a tsunami can be created in a few different ways.

A bad one in the Atlantic wouldn't necessarily be caused or controlled by the energy coming from that particular volcano alone.

Yes, the energy from the volcano can cause mega sized cliff rock or pieces of that island to crack and fall into the Ocean, and the force from that would create some type of huge wave.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80919968

the issue is inertia of 5 billion tons of rock.

I posted this example before. I may have a banana
perched on the side of a table, but there's no way
on earth that a mosquito is gonna push it off. ever.

he just doesn't have the energy to overcome inertia.

and in the case of the tsunami, that's the kinetic
energy of the banana falling.

.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80835605

What if the banana was resting on columns of steam. This would decrease friction. The slightest bump could move the banana...

Am I right in understanding that all the models and predictions that are in all the papers and documentaries about a possible Tsunami are all from a single study from ETH in Zurich?

The same place funded by the Astors and Rothschilds under the cover of the swiss government flooded by the trilateral group banks in the heart of the NWO HQ in Geneva?

Every single big 'event' in history seems to have without fail at least one of the 13 bloodlines in it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79935250

No it’s others like the UCSC study that saw the potentials.

Doesn’t mean Rothschilds etc. wouldn’t try to manipulate or capitalize upon it, as they are prone to do...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79863586

Exactly.

The experts predict the events, the Rothschilds fund/expedite them.

DEW or micro nukes?
 Quoting: krayzie

More importantly, which side used them?

Our side, to relieve pressure and create a new vent?

The other side, so they can start a massive tsunami and conquer their enemies?

Or just a random Dr. Evil, playing with his new DEW toy, to see how many billions he can kill off by starting a landslide?

Yes I see it....just like that secondary opened yesterday and ate the main vent overnight....it's seeping even lower now. Eesh.

Thinking on it, if the main was open and punched a hole through, then the secondary opened at a lower area...and now a third is chewing at the bottom of that...is this entire chunk one giant gaping hole under the cone debris from all the melt/harmonics? How wide, from top vent to bottom, would that even be? I'm picturing a crater the size of the old northern cone opening up.
 Quoting: eV3y

In this particular instance more vents are actually a good thing. The more vents we have the more gas and steam pressure are released vertically up and out of the wolcano, significantly reducing the probability of steam subduction under the western flank fault.

In other words, less steam pressure equals less chance the slippage will happen, equals less chance of a cataclysmic meg-tsunami.

What about a drenching rain?

EQ, major explosive eruption yes, drenching rain probably wouldn't have much effect unless it was tropical storm/hurricane level torrential rain for days. Just my opinion though.

Latest update from INVOLCAN (Please don't shoot me down for the translation, make of it what you will).

Informative update: in the last hours the magnitude of the volcanic earthquake has dropped significantly in all stations of the Canaria Seismic Network in La Palma. We remember that the volcanic tremor is related to the intensity of the Strombolian explosive activity that has characterized almost all of the historical eruptions in the Canary Islands.

The earthquake happens because of the pop (either a gas explosion, water touch, or large magma intrusion that can’t make it out).

I don’t see rain. But I need more actual happening in that case.

Look at the new vent now and how much it's grown in an hour. This thing is going to be a monster later. We need more though, that should lesser the chance of a landslide

Is it just me, or does the ridge line behind the volcano look like it's getting higher and lifting up?

I've been watching it all morning, and it just seems like it's getting higher.

Anyone else notice that? Or is it all in my head.

I took a screenshot, so I'll compare the pics again in another hour.

I get the impression that most folk on this thread would like to see a mega-tsunami happen, some even would like this to turn into a super-volcano.
For those that do, you lives must be awfully sad/depressed to want this to happenrant
