Last night there were rivers of lava in the pic etc. Tonight you have the upper fissure blowing and the lower one lit up. Besides just the 2 hours I've been sitting here the cone has grown like crazy. Last night you could see the sediment build up too.

Besides, if they are so worried about it being a loop, put a piece of tape on the cone ridge. If it goes below the line then yeah its a loop or there was a slide. If it keeps growing, it's live. Like really it's not that hard.
