Three of the five Tsunami Warning Buoys protecting the US east coast are OFFLINE and a fourth is malfunctioning, leaving only ONE buoy in the Atlantic Ocean to warn Americans if a tsunami wave is coming at them from the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands. It is that very island which is currently seeing swarms of earthquakes, leading scientists to believe the volcano there will erupt. If it erupts, and the southwestern flank falls into the ocean causing a tsunami as many expect it will, the US east coast will be BLIND-SIDED because 80% of our tsunami warning buoys are not working.

Warning Buoy 41421, which is Owned and maintained by the U.S. National Data Buoy Center. It is described as a 2.6-meter discus buoy carrying the "DART II payload" which is the set of scientific instruments the device uses to report water and weather conditions. It is located at:
23.373 N 63.902 W (23°22'23" N 63°54'7" W) known as "NORTH ST THOMAS" - 300 Nautical Miles North of St Thomas, Virgin Islands where the ocean water depth is 5844 meters.

This buoy has failed to report any data at all since September 13.

The problem is that this type of volcano isn't the same type as Mount St Helens, nor is there going to be tons of snow up top like MSH had which caused steam when it blew.

Can it blow? Sure, but can't compare the two volcanoes.

Serious questions about Revelation in relation to this potential landslide and tsunami

How could this landslide or tsunami kill a third part of oceanic life and destroy ships? Far as I know, tsunamis don't do that.

Also, while I find the "wormwood" correlation with the Canary Islands interesting, a landslide and tsunami wouldn't seem to be the cause of the kind of effect described in Revelation (8:10-11). Can a landslide and tsunami cause a third of all rivers and "fountains of waters" (fresh water) to become toxic?

I think it's *possible* verses 8 and 9 (2nd trumpet) relate to Cumbre Vieja... definitely won't discount that entirely. As for verses 10 and 11 (3rd trumpet), I could see those effects as a consequence of the tsunami in the form of nuclear meltdowns along coasts. As for verse 12 (4th trumpet), it could be that we'll see more volcanoes erupt after or during the La Palma event. Volcanic ash can certainly darken the skies and can do so across a vast area of our planet if there's enough of it.
