If the tsunami does come what would the wave heights be in the Gulf of Mexico by (near Galvastion)

Thanks! Very useful—I’m at 128 feet above sea level and about 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. I pray worst case scenario doesn’t happen; what is transpiring on La Palma is devastating enough . Should it occur, however, I hope we will be okay, at our location, because there is no way I can evacuate my family and all of my animals. I have goats, chickens, dogs and cats…. We would need Noah’s ark, lol!

HERE'S SOMETHING FROM TODAY 9/28:

[link to legalinsurrection.com (secure)]

IT'S MAKING FOR SOME ANXIETY, TRUE. SO IT SHOULD. WHAT I THINK IS THAT SINCE BIDEN HAS NEWS BLACKOUT FOR THIS EVENT AS WELL AS ANY POSSIBILITY OF HARM TO THE EAST COAST OF U.S., SOMEONE NEEDS TO KNOW BECAUSE REALLY NOBODY DOES EXCEPT THE FEW WHO ARE MONITORING AND RETRIEVING UP TO DATE INFO AND THAT'S US AND A FEW OTHERS SUCH AS DUTCH'S CHAT. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO BE INFORMED. NOW, THAT SAID, SHOULD THE WAVE OCCUR, JUST HOW MANY WILL BELIEVE US? THAT'S THE QUESTION.
 Quoting: I_Object!

Do we have any confirmation that Biden has put a news blackout on news about a potential tsunami coming from Canary Islands?

I'd hate to spout that out if it's not true, but IF TRUE, then it's concerning and dangerous. It would require telling EVERYONE here in FL to watch out for tsunami if we know MSM isn't going to report it.
Quoting: Deplorable NO MORE Michele B

YES, THERE IS LITTLE TO NO MEDIA REPORTING ON THIS EVENT. BY THE TIME A TSUNAMI WOULD OCCUR 5-9 OR 10 HOURS WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO EVACUATE THE ENTIRE EASTERN SEABOARD. IF REPORTING IN THE CORRECT FASHION, MEANING WITH THE USE OF THE RIGHT WORDING, INCLUDING THE RARITY OF SUCH A THING HAPPENING PERHAPS BY PROVIDING THE ODDS OF IT NOT HAPPENING AND JUST LETTING PEOPLE KNOW THAT IT'S ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY PLAN SET IN PLACE. THEY COULD PROVIDE SUGGESTIONS AND SUCH FOR A TSUNAMI OR ANY OTHER EMERGENCY. INSTEAD, NEAR BLACKOUT OTHER THEN BRIEF MENTION HERE AND THERE.
 Quoting: I_Object!

I haven’t followed this thread for several days but maybe it would be a good time ( if you are able) to take a little vacation away from the coast…if you live on the coast…and you are a GLP member or simply reading the forum….unless, you are able to evacuate at a moments notice

Just seems like all signs are pointing to something going down soon…maybe a camping trip in the mountains etc?

Not correct. As it may vary FL would most likely slow the incoming rush, but you'll most definitely be effected also.

this may be a dumb question. don't we have special heat seeking cameras that can track underground and find the tunnels that have lava flowing in them?

Woke up from my nap with the full-body vibrations again. They tingled and buzzed for about 5 minutes after I knew that I was awake. Had no intentions of sleeping as long as I did, but my body refused to let me wake up. I finally woke up from some wild ass dreams about the aftermath of something. I walked unharmed across the fire and smoldering lava fields, then the dream phased to a normal day that was interrupted by a sudden panic and struggle to leave- to run. It shifted to an area camp of random survivors, living in tents on the dried out silt and muck of an area that was washed away. Entire topographic surface as far as the eye could see looked like a brown, muddy riverbank that was crunchy for my boots to walk on now instead of sticky. Those folks in the adjacent were cooking something like a squirrel and happy about it. Their clothes were pretty ragged. There were women and children, families. Dream ended with some kind of hostile intrusion within the camp area and a few of the men mustering longarms to return fire. The concussion blasts of muzzle signature started to come from everywhere and projectiles thumped into the dirt, tore through objects, tents, etc

I need to stop with the mid-day siestas

The roar from the vents is making me too depressed after listening to it for 8-12 hours a day since it erupted. I went to the Jukebox thread and That's Why shared this. Since everyone is hyped up about a potential tsunami, seems like a good soundtrack to share.

Not true

Tsunamis actually bounce around the oceans many many times like a ringing bell.

The reverberating waves are less as strong by a fraction. But consider a monster tsunami will impact every inch of coast at least in the Atlantic and connecting bodies of water.

Reeeeally not liking all the quakes hitting the ridge, seemingly with zero effect on the volcano only miles away. That makes me more nervous than lava hitting the seabed. The rocks under there have got to be pressurized and/or cracking from all the shaking. Maybe from rainwater trapped in them over the years, superheating and fracturing old lava chambers?
