With the tons of clouds at the moment, no way I will see any.
The only one I have seen here were done with a camera with a long exposure, and far from civilization (luckily it's easily done in Estonia).
But right up in Finland, when travelling around, I saw some with my own eyes. One word : AMAZING !

Los Llanos. It's really a very beautiful town. I even went on Google Earth to roam the streets of the town lol. It's heaven on earth.

My daughter, a working woman, has told me that she will no longer discuss doom and gloom. she feels that life has its difficulties, yet is a positive life. she listens to a popular preacher (I'll remember his name) and do not believe she receives the word, but rather is manipulated by it. There are older teens and one older, my grandkids and living the urban, brand name lifestyle, they won't listen to the nutty grandmother either. So what to do? Just waiting. still believe that nobody will be notified anyways and if/when it happens, will have time to make the frantic phone call to get to high ground. Should I start now, I fear and know they won't believe and hope they will if the thing actually is happening with hours to get away.

Anyone else looking at this thing? Something on the lens?

Trust me... In winter you can also here the snowflakes falling.. (no pun, really).

You go in the nature, far from civilization and you can hear it. funny when it happens.

Especially for the big snowflakes or the icy ones.

So knowing that it's most probably a professional camera, the sound must be quite well !

If it was rocks it would be major doomage. Ashes with small crystalized pieces ? agreed.

Problem is they've been listening kindly for several years now and I am already considered the grandma that cries wolf.
