At this point anyone one of these quakes could trigger the landslide of 500 billion tons of earth.

We're literally on the edge of a major catastrophe killing tens of millions of people.

Spent some time on google earth today while at work, zooming on the island in 3D, looking at all the prior vent spots, landslides and deep gouges in the earth from where it's obviously collapsed before, trying to match up the swarm locations against the 3D locations...it's terrifying. To realize the sheer size of ridgeline that could drop, on a map or photo it doesn't really equate and doesn't seem that big. Have a really ominous feeling I can't quite shake off after looking at it full size.

I read a paper earlier that says the slab is actually creeping about ‘1-2cm every few years’ whatever that means, it seems like an ongoing process so I’m starting to wonder now if the 1940s slip was actually a slump, not a slip, because it’s always slipping. Quakes definitely not a good thing.

Even the consistent vibrations from the eruption is bad.
