Take a look at the 3D model.

In order for it to become yellowstone sized, it would need to see activity in the other islands. There is activity in them, but it has remained relatively consistent and stable, so I don't see anything besides the main islands.
 Quoting: Glaxnor

OK. But what is with this:

I'm not an expert, but this sounds like it's not clear how the underground structure really is.

The Guardian article from 10/3/21. Read the paragraph regarding landslide. Professors Simon Day and Steven Ward have been researching this particular island for many years now. Also Prof. Bill McGuire. Seems they are the ones who provide real info and other vulcanologists are out to debunk their theory.

I just can't imagine living on an island like this. It's quite evident the surface is riddled with previous vents from volcanic activity all over the island.

Good catch, kiddo!

Here is a quick reference as well from National Geographic.
[link to www.nationalgeographic.org (secure)]

There is confusion about traditional volcanoes (such as
are on the West coast of the u.S.A. at the plate boundaries)
versus "hot spots" which can be many miles away from the
grinding action of the plates. Both Yellowstone and the
Hawaiian islands are "hot spots" and NOT traditional
plate boundary volcanoes. I would think La Palma's are
also caused by the "hot spot" cause and not from plate
boundaries. That is a big difference when giving consideration
to man-made manipulation. To manipulate a "hot spot"
one would need technology that can influence much deeper
geologic forces than a plate boundary.

So there are two theories about what's happening below La Palma: Mantleplume theory and Invisible Subduction Zone theory.

If it's an subduction zone which is currently getting caught, building up enourmos pressure ... could this lead to an caldera like explosion?

For the folks who hasn't heard of the precession of the ages/equinoxes, this is a brief introduction:
[link to medium.com (secure)]
And here:
[link to www.ancient-wisdom.com]

As we move into the age of Aquarius, we are aligning with the central star, Alcyone. There will be greater magnetic pull resulting in more earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, severe weather etc. But there will also be a shift to a higher consciousness.
Each astrological age shift lasts about 2000-2150 years.
But we are also supposed to be doing another full circle of all the astrological signs which is approximately 24000-26000. (12 x ~2000-2150)

This shows the "earth wobble" which happens as we move through each astrological sign and the poles wobble on their axis every 26000 years:

We have done 5 of these grand "year" full circle cycles which is another big shift of approximately 125000 years.
And 5 of those cycles is 625000 years, which is another shift that's happening.

It's leading to a shift in consciousness but its always accompanied by a breakdown of the old way of doing things. On all levels.

If you've seen the short video about project looking glass, you'll know that tbtw encountered the "singularity" where there was a Great Awakening. This is the shift in consciousness. Tptw are trying to control that shift by engineering chaos. But it's a futile game that they play. We will shift and evolve.

I think either type of below-ground mechanism would be
capable of having a caldera explosion.

Sadly, though, I really don't think there is ANY LOGICAL
WAY to predict--based on what is known about either of
these geologic mechanisms--to "second guess" what could
happen at La Palma. I wish there were a way...as there
are many innocent souls at risk. Maybe if humanity had
poured all their resources into understanding the EARTH
(and the human mind) instead of WAR...we would know more.

Here's a National Geographic special from 2005 about LaPalma. I muted the sound since the whole episode is in Spanish, but got the gist of it by just watching. Video caught my eye since it revolved around Prof's Day, Ward and others. Also has some wild simulations.
