Just thinking out loud here..

The moon causes the Earth to bulge closest to it, this is what controls the tides, causes a wobble a such...

Now, there is big debate as to whether the Moon has any affect on Volcanos or lava as such. I was wondering, due to the activity picking up at night, could the Moon definitely be causing the lava inside Earth to slosh about as well?

Think about the way the tides come in and out, there is no shores inside the Earth for lava as there is for water on land, so that lava will move between cravasses, old lava tubes, voids or old chambers etc below the Island. Since the start of the eruption, during the day, the wobble caused by the Moon has made the lava spread across the Island. At night, most of it gets pulled back through causing it to more active.

So, the best way I can explain it is sort of a seesaw type of wobble. If you had a bowl of water and tilt it side to side, one side will be high and other low, tilt it again the other way and it will change, so during the night at Wolcano, it's up while much is not at the North and during the day, it rushes back through to the North end.

This could explain why the North of the Island is rising, it could be filling up (slowly) the old chamber at the North during the day, hence she takes a nap at the South during the day.

If this eruption is fed from a hotspot and goes on for some time, eventually the North will get worse and could lead to eruption near the old caldera.

read yesterday that deep is associated w deep chamber and shallow-ish, like 10 or so is associated w upper chamber. I would think, middle chamber and 2-ish would be chamber nearest the surface.

Are you there? On the island? Can you please give us some more detailed information about what is happening there besides the obvious things that we can see on the live stream. There is so much more than that and we don't receive nearly enough information. We have BCB and that is good, but still not enough. Can you elaborate please?
