SO2 is now reported at less than 5t/d and lava flow which had been at 66 cubic meter per sec (for months) is now at ZERO.

Remember, when the lava flow gets below 5 cubic meters per second the vents start to solidify.

Hey all, I watched this thread every day since the eruption started. Thank you to everyone that contributed.

Just read the scientist s are going to give it 10 more days before the completely say the eruption has stopped.

But absolutely I do greatly appreciate everyone's contribution let's hope for the best and cheers to everyone!!! Have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!!

I don't think anyone knows what's going to happen. They're careful to say it could go either way.

La Palma volcano update: No new activity - pause of eruption or end?
