I just moved from Dallas to Houston a week ago for a job. Is the flooding that bad?

Montrose and Westheimer is high ground. Don't venture too far though, and especially stay off the 59 highway through that area... floods every time. Get some rubber boots if you plan to get out at all. It's best not to drive really.

SW Houston floods if someone spits on the sidewalk. Move back!

Yes, especially in your area. Stay off Richmond. In an hour you can see the entire street flooded curb to curb. Unless you have the vehicle for such water, don't attempt it. The positive is that it also quickly recedes when the rain stops.

The news crews will be at the same intersections with doom updates.

We always have one dumb b…. Who floats their car down the road and drowns.

The same aunt will call me and ask if we are okay.

Same story…. Different storm.

If you have enough for a few days…. You are good.

Just wait for the president if H‑E‑B to show up on the news and tell us he is doing all he can to get stores reopened.

Wait a day after that and the stores will be good.
