Why is the rapture so hated and makes so many angry? Almost like demonic forces want it suppressed. Why hatred?

...

NONSENSE. The evidence is here.

1 Thessalonians 4 AND "witness verses".

Compare what Paul and Jesus said.

See how these verses are ALL the same event. They compare what Paul said to what Jesus said.

1. Notice that Verses 16 & 17 are pretty much EXACTLY what Jesus says in the Gospel descriptions.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all nopes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

.....

2. Then notice how well Paul's verses 15 & 17 match....

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

More than one rapture dude. More than one harvest. If you understand that.

What makes you think you are qualified and worthy to be taken, if there was a rapture?

This is the problem with the whole pre trib rapture theory.

It puts people against each other, and some are better that others, when we are all sinners.
 Quoting: Radagast the Brown

The rapture is for sinners who humble before Jesus to accept Him as Lord and Savior. It's not for perfect people (there are none, except Jesus, the perfect sacrifice once for all time).

Believing in Jesus is divisive. Becuase the world hates Jesus and hates Christians.

"Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." - Luke 12:51-53

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." - 1 Peter 2:9-10

I personally feel that belief in a rapture and when it's going to take place is irrelevant.

As long as your soul is prepared to meet the Lord, what difference does it make?

I've never cheated on my wife and never will.

But he offered me counseling of all things.

I was like no dude, I'm good.

Rapture refers to Christians being taken up. It doesn't have to be all at once. In fact, in the following verses, it describes the dead and alive being raptured seperately.

What makes you think you are qualified and worthy to be taken, if there was a rapture?

This is the problem with the whole pre trib rapture theory.

It puts people against each other, and some are better that others, when we are all sinners.

More than one rapture dude. More than one harvest. If you understand that.

NONSENSE.

Not scripturally supported.

No pre-trib rapture.

Jesus returns ONCE.

KJV 1 Thess. 4 15 For this we say unto you by
the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remain unto

the coming of the Lord

shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Emphasis on "THE coming".

It's a ONE TIME event.
 Quoting: Servant-of-the-LORD

Rapture refers to Christians being taken up. It doesn't have to be all at once. In fact, in the following verses, it describes the dead and alive being raptured seperately.
 Quoting: Weyoun

Yep. Not a one time event. For all believers. At the same time.

Jesus was the First Catholic. Remember that, when you claim to love him with all your heart, but hate Catholics.

Jesus gave power to his Catholic Church, which he founded, remember that when you reject his Catholic Church.

Jesus told you to obey his Church, which he founded and is the head of, remember that when you refuse to attend MASS.

Jesus told you to obey his Church, which he founded and is the head of, remember that when you refuse to go to confession.

Jesus told you, through his Catholic church, that the "Rapture" is heresy. Remember that, when you fail to enter heaven.

The frequency of Jesus coming back and the frequency of rapture is not necessary one-to-one. I am not a latin expert and I was a Christian before exposure to latin-based languages, but my understanding of the word "rapture" is an action of a person being taken up, not of Jesus coming down. As I pointed out in the verses following the verse you quoted, it talks about dead (asleep) being raptured first, followed by the living, which would already indicate multiple raptures.

Clearly many Christians have passed away before the Great Tribulation. I understand the Great Tribulation to start after the abomination of desolation occurs, according to Matthew 24. I also understsand the abomination of desolation to be a multiple prophecy, because it already happend once in the B.C. days yet Jesus refers to the future.

I believe Adam was teh first Christian, and he clearly alread passed away before The Great Tribulation.

The rapture is Christians being taken up.

Jesus returning once does not negate a pre-trib rapture.

I believe the pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib raptures are all possible and all have Biblical support. A person's relationship with God doesn't depend on when the rapture happens. It is a fruitless arguement. The rapture is in the Bible to encourage Christians and discussion of it should be to encourage each other not to fight each other.

God uses the church to spread the Gospel but He doesn't need to. God can give a vision to a person with no Christian contacts and he can believe in Jesus that way. Once he becomes Christian through direct revelation frpm God, he becomes the church in his area. Often he is persecuted to death, but even through his persecution, his persecutors hear of Jesus (otherwise they wouldn't know he's Christian and to persecute him).
