Why is the rapture so hated and makes so many angry? Almost like demonic forces want it suppressed. Why hatred?

Quit putting modern culture into ancient culture. Ancient culture it was the practice for the people to go outside the city and meet the victorious King and bring him back into the city for celebration. Which is why there is no pre Trib rapture.

Matthew 25:6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ Hence the parable of the virgins with lamps to go greet the groom and bring Him back into the house.

The first resurrection happens in revelation 20:4 and 5, when the 2nd coming occurs. “ 4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.”

If John sees the souls of those already dead and in heaven, how can they come back to life pre Trib and then come back to life again???!!! “ They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years”.....

Jesus told the thief on the cross that day he would be in paradise “Abrams bosom”. How could the thief come back to life at the rapture if he is already in paradise? And then come back to life at the 2nd coming?

Matthew 24 speaks about this as well coming from Jesus’ own mouth. Matthew 24:31 “31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

If the rapture happens as you’re going to say it happens, to bring home the Holy Spirit...the Bride.....then what about those left on earth that will become saved during the tribulation? How can they become saved if the Holy Spirit/Bride/Church has been withdrawn?

This rapture theory is only a theory as there is too many flaws in it. It was a theory created to give weak Christians the sense of fire insurance that they wouldn’t go through hell on earth. It’s a market ploy period.

The Israelites in Egypt still had to put the blood of the lamb on the door to be spared from Gods wrath. They had to continue to obey and have faith in God.

You take one verse and roll with it and totally miss the preceding verses In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16, that fall in line with the time table Jesus and John provide.

I will post an article containing references to the early church fathers and their belief in the pre trib rapture, which was the hope of the early church. Paul's 2nd letter to the Thessalonians was actually written because incorrect teaching was going on in Thessalonica, and the Church was being taught that they had missed the rapture. They believed it was pre Trib.

So did the early fathers Polycarp, who learned from Paul himself, as well as Iraneus and others. As the Catholic Church formed and Constantine began using Christ's name for power and control, the basic literal and obvious meaning of Scripture was hidden and spiritualized.

Taking a passage of scripture and making it mean whatever a person wants is the basis of false teachers.

Also, the early fathers and church understood a literal 1000 year Millennium Reign of Christ on earth.

Question if I may.

Genesis 2:17 - But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Was the warning given Adam and Eve that within the very 24 hour period (in the day) after eating the fruit they would literally lose their life?

Or was it symbolic of them passing from a condition of life into a condition of death?

Did Adam and Eve literally physically die "in the day" they ate the fruit, or in a figurative spiritual sense?


"And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise."


Jesus slept(was dead) in the grave after His crucifixion. From Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. Dead. Not in heaven or paradise. Dead. When He met Mary on the morning of His resurrection He cautioned her "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father"

By Jesus' own declaration, He was not in paradise at His death. He was not with His Father in heaven. In paradise.

So how then was the thief on the cross in heaven the very day he died when Christ was not in heaven?


The answer is because Christ was using the same language He used with Adam and Eve in Eden, as He did with the thief on the cross.

In the day Adam ate the fruit, he passed into "spiritual" death. And in the day the thief accepted Jesus he passed into "spiritual" life.

The Pre Trib Rapture is absolutely correct.
You're right to say that the devil hates it because he knows it's going to happen very soon and it marks his ultimate demise. Sad to see people spewing hate toward our blessed hope.

Most of the people here spout off thinking they know about it when in reality they heave never studied to show themselves approved. They have yet to learn how to rightly divide Gods Word. It's just to bizarre of a concept for them to grasp. They would rather just take other peoples word for what they think rather than study and pray themselves.

Lastly,it doesn't fit the general narrative of gloom and doom that is so thrived upon in this forum.

Rapture haters are demonic for sure. They hate those who believe in the promise because they know we’re getting out of here and they’re staying. They are filled with hatred constantly and rage in anger against anyone who clings to the blessed hope of salvation and being able to escape all the horrors that are coming. It says it right there in Revelation in the letter to philadelphia and also in Thessalonians with the catching up or rapturo, which means rapture in English. They love to lie and claim these verses don’t exist and that rapture isn’t in the Bible when it’s right there in numerous places. Just ignore them and don’t let then steal your joy. They are doing satan’s work by trying to discourage the tired and weary saints and try to get them to doubt the promise. Rebuke the rapture haters in Jesus name and move on brushing the dust off your shoulder.

I appreciate the input. But you are not dividing scripture properly at all. Every verse has to be kept in context. The article you posted was a person who created their own theology picking verses that they can make say what they want to say. The theology as whole of that article is just a mess, that is my opinion after decades of Bible study.

That said, I wish you well in Christ. I never spew venom or get mad over a discussion. It seems many pre trib opponents do, but I appreciate you being civil and presenting your views.

I have to go with Paul and the early church fathers and a plain sense rightly divided contextual reading of the Bible. If I am wrong I will gladly die for Christ and go to my grave with His name on my lips.
