Why is the rapture so hated and makes so many angry? Almost like demonic forces want it suppressed. Why hatred?

Paul teaches it clearly. Born again believers, those placing their faith in Christ and His shed blood for their salvation, will be snatched away, with the dead in Christ rising first and then the Christian's who are alive and remain in that time will go. All in the blink of an eye, and on the way up they will be given new perfected bodies.

This is in the Bible in literal, not figurative, language. It was translated rapturo, which is where the word rapture comes from.

I happen to believe it will happen before the Tribulation, which the Bible describes as a seven year period of God's wrath and judgment. Because Paul says the restrainer will be removed before the man of lawlessness can appear. I believe that the only thing possibly restraining evil at all on this earth is the Holy Spirit in believers, and the Body of Christ on earth will be removed. True believers saved by Jesus and His blood. The age of Grace will end. The Bible says that the Body of Christ is not meant for God's wrath, which makes sense.

And the Body of Christ isn't given instructions on how to survive the Trib but told it will be saved from that time of Tribulation. The Body of Christ can't be punished for our sins because we have exchanged our life for Christ and been forgiven.

But ok, if a person wants to believe that the rapture is in the middle, or at the end, I am not going to hate you are get mad. If you love Jesus Christ and are saved, hey, you are my sibling.

I prepare somewhat for emergencies, but the Trib isn't like a short time of evil. The world government is formed, anyone who converts to Christ in that time will be hunted down and killed if they refuse the mark if the Beast. And there will be horrendous death and manor calamities. I am not sure if many preppers really understand what it is. Some will survive it, but not many.

But regardless, it is doctrinally sound and is plainly in the Bible. Iraenus and Polycarp taught pre trib rapture.

So why the immense hatred? It really does fulfill the prophecy of mockers and scoffers saying, where is His coming? Things go on as they always have. Pretty interesting.

The important thing is, if you aren't saved, admit you are a sinner and accept Jesus Christ gift, He died on the cross and shed His blood and paid the price. He did it all. Place your faith in Him and be saved.

Because the "secret rapture" doctrine is not biblical and would not even be in anyones minds if Cyrus Scofield didnt include it in his margin notes 100+ years ago.

As for the danger of such a false doctrine, it leads people to believe they will skip the mark of the beast crisis and the time of Jacobs trouble.

Scripture teaches Christ does not return until the 7th last plague is in effect. Not before. And not in secret.

If you love Jesus, you will keep His commandments, then the scriptures will open up to you.

Hint: Remember the sabbath day is a commandment.

That simply isn't true. Iraenus taught it and so did other church fathers. Catholicism spiritualized the entire Bible, they hegan the false doctrine of replacement theology.

Scofield didn't invent it. Paul clearly teaches dispensations and clearly says that he was shown a mystery not revealed before he revealed it, ie, the age of grace, the removal of the restrainer before the man of lawlessness could be revealed.

The word Church isn't even found in Revelation affer John is raptured to heaven....literally told to "Come up here".

What you just posted is easily proven incorrect, but it is like there are blinders on people who can't read the Bible for it's literal meaning.

It can't be combined with the second coming either. When Christ returns at the end of the Trib, He destroys the armies of the antichrist and judges those left on earth. The wicked are sent to hell, while the Trib saints who survived go into the Millennial Kingdom and repopulate a perfected world where Christ rules. The Bible literally says that. So if the Rapture were then, He would pull all the saved up to Him and give them glorified bodies, not human, defeat the AC and his armies, and then judge the wicked...and then there would be no humans left to repopulate.

People have been blinded badly by terrible Catholic teaching, that also was brought into denominations. Stop thinking denominationally and read the Bible rightly divided.

Then why embrace false doctrine that the RCC created as they created a massive false satanic system of pagan idolatry with a thin Christian veneer and stopped allowing people to read the Bible for years?

Iraenus and Polycarp taught it, look it up. They were pre Catholic satan church.

But he is certainly who popularized such a false doctrine for our modern times.

Not in the mood to discuss such a laughably unbiblical doctrine further, so excuse me if I stopped reading your rant at that part. Someone else will correct you no doubt.(and you will ignore them of course)

Re: Why is the rapture so hated and makes so many angry? Almost like demonic forces want it suppressed. Why hatred?
Pro rapture believer here.

OP Lucifer is furious that the bride will be taken away so he can no longer try to defile her. Lucifer wants Yeshua to have a defiled bride. He also LOVES to discourage the bride. He loves to whisper in her ear "Your betrothed must not really love you or he would be here already. Why not lie down with me." Etc.

Just like in ancient times we keep our oil lamps lit and await for the day our bridegroom shouts as he approaches for his bride. The wedding customs of Yeshua's time paint the picture of how the bride always had to be ready for her betrothed to appear.

So many wonderful resources to study the wedding and betrothal customs of that time but the late Zola Levitt was always my favorite teacher. From the Trybe of Levi and schooled at Dallas Theological Seminary.

The timing of the rapture is a hotly debated topic. Pre trib. Mid trib. Post trib. I hold a pretribulational rapture view BUT do believe God will leave us here until the very last possible second.

I will clarify that I am a Messianic believer in Yeshua. I fall into the anti British Royal camp as there is a large He brew Roots movement that embraces Windsor. They do so at their own peril.

Rough days ahead I am afraid. When the prophets of Baal are already greeting a Faux Will of I Am at the Western Wall I know the day of evil is rapidly approaching. Druid witches being welcomed in Jerusalem should send red alarms going off. Balmoral or the Morals of Baal residents giving holocaust remembrance speeches and being lavished upon currently in Israel by Tal mud Rab bis who loathe Yeshua tells us all we need to know. The hour is indeed late. They choose the Babylonian Tal mood and Babylondon Faux royalty over the Lion of Ju duh Yeshua.

The term antichrist needs to be understood that yes he is anti the true Christ but he is also a copycat and tries to pass himself off as the true Christ. A bogus Faux copy of the real deal.

Keep contending for the faith and look up... be watchful... for your redemption draweth nigh.

The catholic church also gave us the trinity instead of the Father and Son, sunday instead of Gods 7th day sabbath, eternal life in hellfire instead of the soul dying in the lake of fire, and 100 other satanic errors.

The rapture relatively speaking, is the least of our concerns here.

if believers have passed from death to life and dont enter the judgement and if all died with christ and if the dead in christ rise then we who are alive abiding in him are caught uptogether with them to meet the Lord in THE AIR and IF ALL SHALL BE MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST & BELIEVERS HAVE BEEN ! THEN WHO ARE THE DEAD IN CHRIST OTHER THAN UNBELIEVERS???

Personally I think the problem is many put their faith in an end times doctrine in place of faith of Jesus Himself. We gotta be open to the idea we might have it wrong.

As a Christian, I never understood the obsession over the rapture, which is not even a word in the Bible.

Seems to be a QTard version of Chrisitanity, to make Christians become passified.

It is the same arguments over and over.

If there is no rapture, tell me what Paul is referring to when he teaches we will he caught up to meet Jesus . Translate that word from greek, rapturo. Rapture is in the Bible. Definitely.

It can't be at the same time as the second coming. If it is, who populates the Millennium while Christ reigns?

If it is a terrible scary dangerous doctrine, why did early church fathers teach it as Paul taught it?

And why does the Bible say that the Church is not meant for God's wrath? That we will be kept from it?

None of these questions are addressed. People just keep repeating the doctrine they learned from a denomination over and over. I have no denomination. I follow the Bible, literally, dividing it properly as Paul taught.

I will address every question mate. No one is dodging them. Take a breath.

A. When Christ returns we are caught up to meet Him. He never even touches the ground. (but then how does he reign for 1000 years?)

B. The millennial reign is not on earth. It is satan who is "bound" here for 1000 years. In chains of circumstance. All the wicked are dead and Christ church is with Him being presented to His Father. Satan has no oone to deceive and is stuck on a dead rock for 1000 years.

C. Paul did not teach a secret rapture. He taught when Christ returns we will be caught up.

D. The "wrath" of God is the final 7 plagues. They will not harm Christs church. We will see them, hear of them, watch how they unfold, but they are not for us. We will be observers.

You will no doubt rage when you hear about the 1000 years being in heaven as it goes against everything the wolves in sheeps clothing have taught you, but it is 100% biblical. And logical seeing at Christs return every city falls and every mountain crumbles. The world is in utter ruin. Not a nice place to be.

Here is a write up some guy did on it, and it is spot on if you wish to learn the truth of it.

No mate, after the 1000 years is when Christ touches the mountain, it shatters and opens into a plain large enough for New Jerusalem to set down on.

Christ said He is going (to heaven) to prepare a place for us. IN HEAVEN. Not on earth. In His Fathers house (New Jerusalem) are many mansions. That Christ is preparing for us. In heaven. In the city of God. Dont you remember that promise?

He is not preparing homes for us in heaven for us to use on earth. Is He bringing millions of mansions with Him to earth at His second coming? Of course not!

The city of God does not descend to the earth until the 1000 years are expired. We will be there in New Jerusalem, with Christ and His Father, in the place He has prepared for us.

Do you truly not see? Is this milky topic meat to you?

Go read that write up again mate.

Re: Why is the rapture so hated and makes so many angry? Almost like demonic forces want it suppressed.

Rapture theology finds its origin in the 1830’s, when an English Protestant minister named John Nelson Darby began teaching this new idea to his followers. Although he studied Law at Westminster School and Trinity College ‐ Darby chose to enter the diaconate of the Church of Ireland instead of practicing law. He was later ordained as a priest in that church.

Over the next several years, his theology developed and changed to the point where he rejected the very idea of a clergy ‐ claiming that it limited the Holy Spirit from speaking through any and all members of the Church. He eventually broke away from the Church of Ireland, found some like‐minded believers and formed The Plymouth Brethren ‐ a conservative, low church, nonconformist, evangelical Christian movement. It was around this time that he began to formulate and preach a new doctrine: “The Rapture”.

There was no Scriptural basis for Darby’s “Rapture” Theology. Neither was there a basis for it in Tradition since it had never been a teaching of the historic Christian Church. Since then, Darby’s novel invention has been picked up by many newer Protestant groups, that is, groups which have sprouted up over the last 100 years or so. It has also become the topic of many books and films, such as the “Left Behind” series.

The Bible is clear that the Second Coming of Jesus will be preceded by a period of persecution (Matt. 24:20‐31; Mark 13:19‐27; 2 Thess. 2:1‐4) commonly referred to as the “Tribulation”. However, there is no mention of Jesus coming a second time to rescue his believers only to return a third time. When we read 1 Thess. 4:17 in context with the other Scripture verses that mention the Tribulation and the Second Coming, it is clear that is speaking about what is going to happen when the Lord returns at the end of time – not before.
It is interesting to note that none of the Protestant Reformers taught about this supposed event.

Before the 1800’s, every Protestant denomination agreed with the Catholic Church that this event of being “caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” would occur simultaneously with the Second Coming of Christ. Like many other aberrant pseudo‐Christian teachings, belief in the Rapture has become widespread among Evangelical and Fundamentalist groups.
The idea that God’s people will be rescued on earth from earthly persecutions is completely anti‐Biblical. At no time in human history did God ever pull His people out of worldly danger. The early Christians suffered horribly at the hands of their persecutors. They were crucified, fed alive to wild animals, beheaded and set on fire for following Christ. The idea the Christians in the future will be spared persecution is wishful thinking – especially when Jesus called it a blessing (Matt. 5:10).

On the contrary – the Scriptures are full of admonitions that we will indeed suffer for Christ (Matt. 10:38, 16:24, Mark 8:34, John 12:24, Rom. 8:17, 2 Cor. 1:5‐7, Eph. 3:13, Phil. 1:29, 2 Tim. 1:8, 1 Peter 2:19‐21, 4:1‐2).
Jesus told His disciples that they would be hated by the world because it hated Him first. He stressed the fact that those who wished to be His disciples must pick up their cross DAILY and follow Him (Matt. 10:38; Matt. 16:24; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23; Luke 14:27). Christ promised His followers everlasting joy in Heaven – but not here on earth.

Re: Why is the rapture so hated and makes so many angry? Almost like demonic forces want it suppressed. Why hatred?
Churches wrongly teach it as an escape. Therefore people are wrongly taught not to prepare for hard times ahead, either materially or mentally/emotionally. God does promise us that he will gather his people. But this gathering is conditioned on his people obeying Him with all their hearts (Deut 29). This neither is taught in the church
