I think they are done with trying to summon the antichrist or the nobody. The reason they are moving so openly and franticly now, is because they have already built most of the surveillance system and they are going on their own.

If there is a nobody that they are worried about it, it is the antichrist that failed to show up, despite all of their ritual and efforts.

In the late 60s early seventies pop culture was filled with the dawn of the new age, rosemary's baby, the exorcist, the omen. That is when they expected them to be born.

Building up to 1999-2001 they ran the millennium apocalypse and rise of the antichrist script in the media and news. They even smashed the two pillars trying everything to bring it to fruition. The antichrist was a no show.

Thinking maybe they got something wrong they ran a second Mayan apocalypse script leading up to 2012. Still nothing, nada, zip, zilch.

Now they aren't waiting for anyone, they are just going to do it themselves. They may have even released the bioweapon to neutralize the antichrist, just incase he didn't just show up, but might have gone rouge.
