Ghost images showing up the weatherman's radar.
He thinks it's chaff, anti-aircraft countermeasures.

This report was Thur. The radar anomalies first appear off Evans Head, this is an Airforce bombing range. C17a's fly out of RAAF Base Amberley, which is between Brisbane & Toowoomba.
On Sunday Sept 12 a friend was driving south from Tweed Heads over Sexton hill to be greeted by a C17a Globemaster that was very low & appeared to be hovering, am waiting for the pic. It was posted on FB & others in the area confirmed seeing it also commenting that it appeared to be hovering. This is totally not normal activity for this area.
Apparently there has been "a lot of military aircraft activity" in the Tweed Heads area recently. I personally have no proof of this other than the above & hearing lots of helicopter activity which has been put down to the filming of "Im a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here".
Personally I am a tad south of Tweed Heads, my neighbour said there was something huge & low flying over us yesterday, Sept 14, she went out but could see nothing, said the noise was huge & went on & on for a long time.

Report Copyright Violation | Re: Stealth Air Activity Over Brisbane Coast? I live in Tweed Heads. Yup. Heaps of military activity. Lots of posts about the globe masters on our local pages. One flew so low over my place the windows shook. I’m right on the flight path.
