Some of the most influential people in history were gay, but didn’t make it their main personality trait because(besides social prosecution), being gay doesn’t define someone. If anything a gay President would be more badass. Not only have they overcame their own sexuality, and overcame hateful fucks like you, but they have the confidence to be comfortable in it. They don’t give a fuck about anyone who hates them, they’re gonna defend the country despite what other leaders may think.

We know what it’s like to have our rights taken away from us. We barely got the right to marry a few years ago. Got neglected in healthcare and face getting our ass beat by random people everyday. So defending rights like the 2nd and 1st amendment is all that much more important, and we’re gonna defend with more strength.

Now I’m not saying vote for the super flamboyant gay dude running for President. But if there’s a man(or a woman) who is standing there, telling people like us that they’re gonna defend our right to own guns, our rights to free speech, our rights to personal choice in healthcare. That they aren’t gonna bow to lobbyists and corporations or Pharma.
