The sorry state of large churches today: the sin of covetousness

To Pastor ............. and brethren of the ............... Church who do the Will of My Heavenly Father, Matthew 12:50,

If you love me, keep My Commandments, ten of them, including the keeping of His hallowed and sanctified Lord's Day of Rest He was Lord of as written in Matthew 12:8, Luke 6:5, Luke 6:46, John 14:15 to 18. So do Acts 2:38.

Why do I see so such unrepented sins of iniquity in most churches claiming to be Christians? Do we know what constitutes the sin of iniquity? When we read I John 3:4 it tells you what it is, but how do we know unless we read the Ten Commandments that most church pastors have removed out of sight who say "Oh, we're not under the Law any ore, we're under grace alone."

So now we see outright covetousness in many church pulpits of these big mega churches where these Christian con-men preach prosperity-here-and-now doctrines of gathering up earthly treasures for themselves and their family and friends, all full of lust of worldly things to fulfill I John 2:15-16. Covetousness is still a sin of iniquity, pastor, brethren. We need to repent of this and go back to the real early church of Acts 2:42-47 and Acts 4:32 to 37. Peter and John said, "Silver and gold have we none."

Pastors who have five thousand dollar gold Rolex watches are in the sin of covetousness, and to everyone in your house having new Linux cars, or each of them having multi-million dollar houses and owning a multi-million private jet are all signs of covetousness and greed that need to be repented of, and gotten rid of by selling them and helping the poorer brethren in your church who have needs, or if we do not do it, then face the Lord who wrote the Ten Commandments at His Great White Throne of Judgment as written in Revelation 20:11-15.

Read Matthew 7:20-22. Even big signs and wonders so-called men of God will be at His White throne of Judgment for their sin of covetousness and self glory they seek.

Read Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 and do what is written.

Elijah

Re: The sorry state of large churches today: the sin of covetousness
Greetings, I am glad you decided to read this thread for I believe it deals with an extremely important subject. First let me introduce myself. The person who typed the words you are reading is not the auther of this post. The words are inspired by me and I am ready to back up this claim with proof.

Who am I? I have been described many ways and have several different titles. I am described as the Son of Man and I have a challenge and a promise, especially for those who do not believe I exist.

Did you know that I don't want you to believe I exist just because you were taught to or you were told to? I myself would not ascribe to believing a thing unless it were proven to me, if I had doubts. I would not treat anyone with any less respect for respect has to be mutual, or it is not respect at all.

Those of you who question the reality of my existance for lack of proof, are not wrong for feeling the way that you do. Most churches that exist today are without their knowledge straying far from what I intended 2000 years ago. But I did not inspire this message for the purpose of condemnation or judgement of anyone.

Another sad but true fact is there are a great many who believe in my name but have not known me. Those that are invited to what is known as the marriage supper of the lamb, are those who know me, and I them, personally. All who have a personal relationship with me are guaranteed to recieve an invitation to the wedding. It is my hope that the guest list never end with the abundance of the names it contains.

If you fall into the catagory of disbelief in my existance, I have a challenge for you, The challenge is for any and all who wish to accept it. In prayer I want you challenge me........ to PROVE that I exist. I promise that I will provide proof on one condition: You must be sincere in your desire to know the truth. I will prove myself to all who trully ask me to with an open mind to recieve the answer.

In what form will the proof come you might ask? The holy spirit will be my messenger and you WILL know when the message has been delivered!! So to those who really desire to know the truth......Ask and ye shall recieve, what have you to lose?

Peace to all.
