agreed. Back in the 80's we would whine that it was weak and look for stronger stuff than the ditch weed we were getting. It got me through grad school. Today, I look for the weakest stuff I can find and it is still too much for me and it is a complete waste of hours of my time. Poof ghandi.

I do agree that brain frequency changes with the sacred plant and that this IS a good thing.

What you say is 'it opens ones to other beings' I would describe as 'opens one up to other aspects of themselves'. 'other aspects of mind'. Perhaps hidden desires suppressed by culture never having had an expression within the self for instance.

Maybe these are termed and idealized by some such as yourself as external spirits... I believe it is all internal, and agree this all this is MORE REAL than REAL.

Language aside we may be saying exactly or similar things.

Also, I find the sacrament can 'clear the airwaves', help one be more IN the moment and with that all the benefits of being there.

Well, best to ignore those 'people'.

OP is right. 70's weed, pre-Columbian Gold was the best. We used to laugh our asses off, get the munchies, go to Winchell's Donuts and call it a day.

Shortly thereafter the Columbian strains hit the market, this was from the Square Groupers bringing it into the states, pre-Cocaine drops.

We used to go to this house in the suburbs of SJ to score it. We had a number of people and places we would buy from but this place was the craziest.

It was the parents of this guy we went to school with. I say that lightly, because he was rarely at school.

We'd go to his house and his mother or father would answer.

They went by "Pops" and "Moms."

They'd invite us in and bring out the various strains. We'd take a few sniffs, make a buy and some other dudes would be knocking on their door as we were leaving.

I never liked the Columbian stuff though. It was spectacular looking. The gold buds were other worldly compared to the Mexican shake.

I always got the feeling though that they were sprayed with something. I have no empirical evidence to support this, but their effect was decidedly different.

We also smoked "Thai Stick" which was the shit. Laced with opium, you got the cannabis high +++.

Lastly, dark black, Afghani hash was also readily available. This was powerful stuff, and I was smoking it regularly as a 16 year old.

I look back on those times with both nostalgia and regret.

Many of those experiences opened my mind, but I also lost a great deal of initiative, and in many ways, time.

I don't think minors should smoke/get high.

It interfere's with brain development and I don't care what anyone says, weed is a gateway drug.

I'm not in favor of the commercialization and legalization of it.

If you want to grow your own plants, that's fine for personal use.

Medicinal is good too.

But making it the Soma of our times is dangerous.

I haven't had stems or seeds in my stash for 15 years now.

I was hardly offended, but I find this a very important issue. I believe no mind is a social vacuum in which nothing but the vessel's brain bounces around. Especially if that brain is seen as not even having a spirit or soul attached to it that utilises the mind.

What you say about weed opening you up to other aspecs of their own minds sure I believe that is true as well, but the effect on telepathic communication with the world around you both macro and micro is something that must not be ignored since it can lead to dangerous situations when most active Beings can not even be seen.

The modern growers that grow inside are pushing garbage. They pour chemicals in to root systems suspended in some kind of media like rock wool and then "flush" the chemicals out, all the buyers that like flashy frills and numbers printed on labels soak that designer bullshit up. like "oooh look at this nug there's hardly any stem" and "this one is 29"thc OOO" WHo gives a fuck, but its chuck full of chemicals. Find a good grower that grows organically out in the sun and you've found something good. The best stuff is grown in nature.

I have to grow indoors at this time and I use no chemicals or nutes. I just add water to the living soil I made. It's perfectly smooth smoke, like breathing air.
