Because of recent media documentaries highlighting doom regarding scenarios, the eruption has a hyperfocus, but no one is in danger or will be. This eruption did not manifest as that event. I’m at the beach here in Florida so my concern is high. Quoting: Floridanative Anyone have any good info on this? Thanks! If Cumbre Vieja decides to pull a Mt. St. Helens, then you have approx 8 hours to start heading as far West as you can. Slight correction. You have 10 minutes to try to beat everyone else to the freeway... then 8 hours of bumper to bumper traffic to fight through getting as far inland as possible. If you are in southern Florida you'll want to head north, away from the two coastal nuclear power plants (tsunami is what caused the meltdown at Fukishima). |
