Ive told her about this and to keep her gas tanks full. I even sent her a route to follow, north instead of west toward the Hudson. Quoting: Black Unit I live in a community of 10000 and last year when the wildfires came people that evacuated took 10 hours to get 30 miles. If you don't leave before everyone tries to leave you'll be sitting in a parking lot on the roads. |

There are multiple sources that can find that, google maps is great. Depending on how big the wave is, that is your best chance if you are that far from the state line. Either that, or fight your way through the crowd evacuating and get as far inland as possible. Like I said, if you keep checking GLP, your odds of survival is better than most, as you will get way more warning than MSM. Do you have a bike as well? If you are 6 hours away, you can get 6 hour head start. Then everyone will be panicking and by that point you should be able to get past the state line and to safety soon after. That is, if you check GLP often. |
