When I was that age, I knew absolutely nothing about my teachers' personal lives. Not even sure if I knew about homosexuality. I do remember one of the neighbors had a queer adult son that my mother told us to stay away from. He had a standard poodle and a red convertible sports car. Instead of walking the dog, he would drive the car around the block and the dog would run along beside him.

This is what I'm talking about. These days, we have kids teaching kids. That thing is a child, that is not an adult, emotionally.

This is why we have all these teachers sleeping with their students - there is no child/adult boundary, they feel like they're on the same level. Their students are their "friends" now.
