I have called several attorneys in my area and they all say the same thing. They say you CAN be fired with little recourse. We are being coerced here at work, dangled a carrot for money to get the shot, now, this morning we get a message that says either get the shot or be terminated..

“Company” will no longer be able to allow you to choose whether or not you wish to be vaccinated- it will be required that you either get vaccinated or get tested weekly faking to do so will most likely result in your termination, as “company” will be fined up to $14k if you do not comply.

They frame it as you have no choice but offer a choice in the next sentence… plus since we are a health care facility we were told there would be no weekly testing. So they make it seem like you have a choice, but from other emails and according to the state memos I have seen, there will be no choices because they explicitly stated they would not do weekly testing on healthcare workers.

Anyone have any good advice?? I feel coerced and a bit uneasy about all of this. I could potentially lose everything I have worked for. I shouldn’t be forced or coerced into taking drugs I don’t want.

Health care workers on NY filed a case in Federal court. The judge has said the mandated is unconstitutional and put a hold on the mandate and if the state provides any form of evidence the court will hear this case starting at the end of OCT. But as of now the judge see no reason for this mandate and the plaintiff will win removing this mandate at least for the state of NY.
a good video editor can make anyone say anything the editor wants.

If they don’t and the stress of testing gets to you, you can sue them as well.

I don't understand the testing requirement. It is widely known that everyone can contract and spread the virus regardless of vaccination status.

Why are they only testing the unvaccinated? How does that make sense? What happens when a positive test comes back? The test doesn't yield immediate results, so you can still spread it at the work place.

Yes, I've talked to the top firm in the country specializing in this particular subject and got a retainer agreement from them.

Here's what they say the law says (you can debate whether the law is fair or just, but that isn't the point here): 1) An employer can mandate this and fire you for not complying, with exceptions if you are under an employment agreement or if you are protected by collective bargaining agreements that forbid the jab mandate.

2) If mandated, don't even bother with applying for a health exemption. They will reject it and have firm legal ground to stand on because of the (crooked) FDA. Apply for the religious exemption. Don't write a freaking paragraph explaining why your religion forbids the jab. Just don't. Your exemption should read: "Due to a sincere and deep personal religious belief, I am exempt from the vaccine."

That's it. Do not write a novel.

3) They still could possibly fire you or retaliate or make your life miserable after this. They may even possibly deny your exemption. But, the religious exemption is the only close to surefire way to have a great case in court if you choose to pursue that. If you win, you will win an absolute lottery payout. Most employers know this and are treading very lightly when you invoke this in this way.

Only invoke the religious exemption if you are mentally ok with possibly being fired and being willing to fight for possibly 3 to 5 years in court. Be prepared to "burn it all down" as well as an alternative. That means stealing all of your firm's customers, business, key employees and everything of value if they fire you. That may be more satisfying and a quicker payback than the lawsuit, but YMMV.

Managers--especially ANYONE who appears to not have been doing a very good job creating diversity in the workplace--will be under palpable danger of legal action.

Managers who eagerly swoop in to create a mandate will HAVE to be able to show that they aren't using it as a sneaky way to get rid of women and minorities on their workforce.

A manager whose workers are of Christian or other religious denominations with a religious objection to vaccines will (or SHOULD) have to prove s/he is not engaging in religious discrimination by 1) declaring a vaccine mandate and 2) not allowing religious exemption.

They want you to think that there's some sort of out until the very last second so they can force you into not just making a decision in the moment but also making the decision they want you to make.

This isn't an accident, you have no legal recourse, and it WILL come down to get the shot or lose your job extremely soon.

The trick here is in understanding that you have two choices.

1. Accept that your job is going away most likely much sooner than you think. (Lots of workplaces putting people on unpaid indefinite leave instead of letting you work and get tested twice a week) if you go this route, save every penny you can until the last second preferably while looking for a different job. Realize that every paycheck including this one is likely to be your last and plan accordingly.

2. Give up and get the shot.


I will also make it a point to note here that if you go with option 1 you genuinely NEED to have other employment at a non mandate place before they can fire you or put you on unpaid leave! They're absolutely going to blackball refusers and make it impossible to get hired other places.

Taking this even further, whatever job you get as a replacement isn't going to last a whole bunch longer so budget yourself tightly and save your ass off!

They are NEVER GOING TO STOP unless we STOP THEM.

If you choose option 2 you've basically made your choice to ride the system down in flames.

Because make no mistake about this, they are piloting the economy and supply situation straight into the rocks!

Even picking option 2 probably only buys you a few months at best before this really gets rolling fully ...

Is it worth giving in and getting the shot to you if you know that it only buys you at most a few months before the hard times fully set in?

That's a question only you can answer for yourself.

I wish I could say that even the current shitshow is the new normal too but it's not.

This is just the beginning of things getting so much worse really no matter which option you personally pick.

That said, if enough people give up and just get the shot etc then we're getting full great reset you will own nothing and our last best chance at stopping it dies.

As you've seen though with your legal consults, fixing things from within isn't going to happen.


I sincerely hope that you and others reading this make choices you can feel good about on your death bed because the choices we are collectively about to make WILL decide the future of this country and could very well put a successful rebellion out of reach for generations.

Are you ok with that in order to collect a paycheck for another few months?

That's where health and comorbidities come into play. Outside of a general religious exemption, which will be difficult to stick, if you have a health issue that makes the vaccine more dangerous you can use the American with Disabilities Act to protect you against the Employer's mandate against you due to your health condition and is required by federal law to offer you a "reasonable accommodation" if you can still perform your job without the vaccine, such as daily symptom monitoring, reporting if you come into contact, brief quarantine without pay, temp checks and whatever testing they would like for you to do to prove you dont have covid. That's probably the best argument so far since the US Sup. Ct. is likely to continue to support mandates.
