#Me Too. I feel like my day now is not complete unless I hear at least one, in a previously quite town.

I live in a dinky upstairs apartment, stairs are inside and go straight up to just 2 doors. The young lady living across from me, a 19 year old college student who worked graveyard somewhere, just vanished. Her car is gone and I would notice if she moved. That is an increasingly common story. Keep hoping she just shows up one day and tells me something cool like she has been in Brazil or Columbia doing hump jobs for field researchers. So I lean hard on the theory people are disappearing, they always have. But this is different and smells of Abbadon.

Come to think of it, it has become very quiet. One of the apartments in the other four plex has a young man, and I have not seen anyone there for a week or two. I don't see a car. He has small children that may come and visit, the toys are on the front porch. It is errie.

I noticed a few years back that we were being Stepford wived as I called it.

I lived in a white city and slowly but surely almost everywhere I went the workers became a different color and you'd think to yourself, where did all the people who used to work there go?

Now, it is as if either the city depopulated, which I don't think it did, or people are disappearing. Being replaced.

After the Christchurch quakes, which they will tell you only 160 people died, and many of them visiting foreigners, suddenly the paper was fill of deaths.

There used to be only half a page of deaths a day and for about 6 months after the quakes, because of stress I think, there suddenly was 5 plus pages. Day after day. It was freaky as all shit.
