If one goes to the archives of this webcam, one can type in the date 20080221 and see for him or herself that the entire sunset was not only captured, but that the camera was in fact adjusted to show more of the sunset! Which is the whole f-ing STATED POINT OF THE KAT KAM: weather and SUNSETS. Which you'd already know, except that apparently you haven't read any of the text above the picture on the homepage. Loser! Get a f-ing life.

Holy bloody crap! Did you even bother to write to the people who run the Kat Kam and ask why the camera was tilted up? No you didn't. How do I know this? I'm Kat; I run the Kat Kam. And there is no "hiding planets" going on here.

You have absolutely no idea how sad you are, do you; just how totally removed from reality you are?

I'm sorry I have to share this planet (the one named Earth) with people who are as seriously whacked as you. It's scary, legitimately. If this is the sort of paranoia you practice, what sort of potentially dangerous, crazy reaction to your skewed worldview might we see from you in the future? Being a few cards short of a deck makes a person less predictable, so it's not unreasonable to wonder.

Have you idiots NEVER noticed that when there is no window in the equation, there is no mysterious "planet" to be "seen"? This is because of lens flares which involve the double-paned window, period. (Morons.) Have you idiots honestly NEVER noticed that no one on the beach, on the bridge or on any balcony has ever seen this "planet", but that it has only ever been "seen" though certain WEBCAMS? Webcams which are behind reflective panes of glass, otherwise known as windows? And that this planet is never seen in anything other than photographs, taken with cameras that have lenses, which contain, INTERESTINGly enough, several panes of reflective glass? The most "interesting" thing here, my moonbat friend, is that this planet is never spotted by people with telescopes, and that the flares caused by the glass are never seen by the naked eye. Never. Doesn't that tell you anything "interesting"?

Anyone who confuses lens flares and other earthly physical photo-visual phenomena with a "planet that the gov't is 'hiding'" is not only grossly unaware of the laws of simple high-school-level (grade 8 or 9) physics, but is clinically insane to not only assume, BUT TO DECLARE WITH ASSURANCE, that the unidentified spot or flare of light in a photograph is NECESSARILY a "hidden planet".

And an "FYI" for the truly nut-worthy among you, I have zero connection to any government, let alone any reason to try to hide, or help anyone else hide, anything that is actually out there. Damn, are you idiots paranoid! So paranoid, in fact, that you'll undoubtedly accuse me of lying...because you have so much "evidence" to support your loony hidden-planet religion. So if you think this post is by an imposter - WHICH YOU DINGBATS ON THIS SITE DID LAST TIME I POSTED HERE! - why don't you e-mail Kat at the Kat Kam and see if she responds to you with not only "Yes, I did post on GLP March 02," but also, "you crackpot morons".

Lastly, the only reason I stopped by this funny farm of a website was because a film school student recently contacted me about using some of the webcam's archived images for a documentary on UFO sightings, to which I basically said "Okay as long as you're not a conspiracy theory nut-job," to which he responded to the effect of "That's subjective," so now I'm sending him the link to this rubber room so I can say "Here's what I mean." He at least has said that his project will be a "scientific evaluation of stories from UFO witnesses" and that "it attempts to stay unbiased and does not force any belief on the viewer." I can't wait to see his reaction to what he sees here.

Hey Kat. Thanks for posting that. You may or may not know that some of your shots have been posted by Nancy Lieder on her website as proof of the existence of Planet X. I have been trying to explain what you have explained here for several years. I used to live at Pacific and Thurlow, saw that scene every single day and I would have noticed a rogue planet if it really existed next to the sun, but no amount of common sense could persuade these idiots that there is no planet X in the Katkam images. I even got accused of being a paid debunker by Nancy Lieder herself. Maybe now that they have the explanation for the supposed anomaly straight from the dude that runs the Katkam they will finally shut up and stop using your images to perpetuate this fraud.

Is this not obvious? (I know: it is to anyone who is sane and reasonably mature.) So, once again, let it be known with no uncertainty that the Kat Kam operator is NOT hiding anything in the sky, covering anything up, or lying about anything, especially regarding UFOs or "hidden planets" such as the laughable "Planet X", which are either nonexistent or at least unseen by the webcam's operator. Okay? So I have not "missed the point", as one lame-brain put it. And yes, accusing me of "missing the point" because I posted here in my own bloody defense most certainly is lame.
