I used to work at an urgent care until about 1 month ago, and I was around positive Covid all the time, I did vitals and testing. I stopped wearing an N95 mask and gown because I couldn’t breath, just wore a regular surgical mask. I was exposed to coworkers who were positive also. I never had covid and I had my antibodies checked twice, the results were negative. Quoting: Soulska273 I haven’t been wearing a mask, I’ve been to a comedy club, a concert, a wedding, a few parties. No one wore masks at any of these places. I haven’t been vaccinated and don’t plan on it. I feel like there are a lot of people like me, so what the hell?? Are there people who just can’t get it?? That, or some genetic profiles are resistant to the nasty. Quoting: Lady Jane Smith You know what Lady Jane, I just thought it was targeting those above retirement age and those in nursing homes. Let's face it, those are the majority who are passing away. It gives the gov more money back in their pockets and frees up beds. Pretty sad to think of it ... but it just seems that is what is happening. |

I would say it was COVID, except COVID supposedly wasn't around at that time. I am usually very susceptible to colds, but never get the flu, ever, and don't take flu shots, either. So why, when the rest of my family has had COVID, have I not? I AM THE ONE THAT GETS EXPOSED ON A WEEKLY BASIS! I don't get it. I have been in crowds, no mask use, no COVID. I have upped my supplement intake, have been eating better, getting more sun and exercise, but it still does not account for why I haven't caught COVID. In fact, I haven't been sick with even sniffles since I caught that virus in November 2019. Quoting: GA Girl Same here, I haven't missed a day of work Since this started in fact worked more than ever have. I'm frequent daily sometimes multiple Times a say where people go when they are feeling sick ,and get prescriptions and working with nasty stuff in bathrooms often with no protective gear but gloves and no mask. All but two of my coworkers have been sick me and another person. I thought for sure it had to do with nicotine. And I did some research and nicotine binds to the ace2 receptor in lungs which is main infection point for covid19 Once covid 19 makes infection in lungs it has access to blood stream and rest of body. It's ace2 receptor block that access point . |

Quoting: 923 if so, why can't i to this day find even one trucker who knows anyone who has had it? Bro truck drivers are isolated in their trucks . They take a shower once a week. They barely get out of the truck when offloading a load cause that's done usually by receiving. Truck drivers are not the front line of anything. It would be service /repair plumbers who would be dropping like flies. Why? What place in public and private so sick people go to? The bathroom and where do they disrobe and drop their biological waste yep the bathrooms. 100 + people a day go into public bathrooms it should be a hotspot for infections. When a bathroom is clogged , there is feces urine piss and every virus that the filthy sick people drop off and the plumbers are repairing the facility with no masks no gloves. Are service plumbers dropping like flies???? No They should be tho if the virus was the reason for deaths. |

Quoting: Butch DeFeo If you're low in zinc and vitamin D3, maybe vitamin C and others, then this COVID virus can easily latch onto you and take over. And of course it seems to kill people who are super old and weak, but probably many flus and colds throughout history killed old and weak people. Nothing gnu. I smoke tobacco and pot. i know too many pothead who share different smoking devices that have not caught covid. i know many smokers who you would think with putting a hand to the face and on something that goes into your mouth would increase chances like with asbestos as an example. Butch we have known the best medicine since the start. we were prepared. great advice. they need to get seniors and even nursing home patients in the sun as much as possible. but supplements are needed. something is not right and almost everyone is D3 deficient. even roofers and surfers... of course the old and weak get got. that is what nature teaches us over and over. they are extending this, they have done almost the opposite of what should have been done. also how many hazmat containers for masks have you seen ? they have time and money for stickers and plexiglass and all the other stuff.. |

ShawStraw User ID: 80170810 United States 09/27/2021 05:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I haven't had a cold in several years. Was already a stickler for hygiene when being in public spaces/large groups of people/touching common surfaces/etc. Not sure about my blood type, but it's a B or an O, probably B. I have never had a flu shot. Last tetanus shot was decades ago. Was already taking supplements prior to the COVID thing, including D, C, zinc, and melatonin. My elderly parents got the jab but have been fine so far. They do usually get flu shots every year, but they also get a lot of sun and vitamin D. So going by my own experiences and this thread so far, I'd say maybe not getting the flu shot and/or getting sufficient amounts of certain vitamins or melatonin and/or just some luck of genetics. And I'd say keeping your hands clean never hurts. |
