Yes! Big Time. I am really on edge today. I was wide awake at 4am this morning. Something big is going to happen i can feel it.

I am terrified.

My sister, as I have mentioned, is fully vaxxed but currently hospitalized in ICU on the ventilator.

I am scared of losing her, but it's also just made this all so real and close to home.

I am terrified though now that they really are just killing people. Not on purpose at the hands on care level but perhaps out of fear and perception of shortage of care, like numbers of ventilators.

See, they were going to take her off the vent and let her die, because of kidney failure, but the family said no, do dialysis. Turns out she has a massive kidney bacterial infection- so they are giving her antibiotics and she's doing better.

What if she didn't have family that could be so involved? They would have just let her die?

It's just surreal.

I can relate. Brother in law in the same situation as your sis. I'm not scared, it is what it is and worrying isn't going to change anything, but my heart breaks for my sister and her kids. I hate that he's alone, what if they're just prolonging it for $ and he just wants to go home to God... he's heavily sedated but he is alive and perhaps thinking these things... I just don't know.

This anxious feeling is a separate thing, not anxiety per se but expectant... like someone is coming here or we're going away somewhere. It's weird.
