I swear. The QR covid-pass has been installed last weekend here, and I feel like complete shit.
This is discrimination, this is wrong, this is evil, this is the devil and I feel like a very VERY dark cloud has come over the world currently.
October is going to be tough. V@xxed people claim they disagree with this system yet they still get their QR code and think they're free. Hypocrites, and it's their fault.
Been sick all day, headache and a very wrong twisted feeling in my guts. This cannot last any longer.

I put in a religious exemption and no one said anything, I lasted a few weeks avoiding everyone as much as possible but the stress was "medical level stress" and as you say, the dark cloud and the cognitive dissonance has made it impossible for me to stay in my job of ten years, I gave notice last week and will be done with that place soon.
I've quit jobs before, without knowing what would happen, I've been laid off and felt like the world was ending, but I'm old enough to know that things work out in the long run, one way or the other. I was ready for a change anyway, past due.
But I wasn't going to stay and get blamed if someone there gets sick. I'm not signing up for that BS.
Oh I want to add something encouraging. I live in an extremely liberal town where people seem to be 100% unquestioningly in support of the masks and vaccines.
And my workplace is over the top "woke" and I don't know of anyone on staff who gave two brain cells worth of thought about any of the lockdown, masks or shots.
However - since the organization made the proof of vaccine mandatory, with the information scanned into the state vaccine database, the customers have stopped coming in altogether. Business ground to a near-complete halt. Also management is keeping it quiet but they have gotten a lot of letters asking for refunds of membership dues and explaining why they will not patronize the establishment with these draconian restrictions in place.
So I think it's encouraging. I don't see any protests, I don't hear anyone discussing it, it's not in the news, no one is acknowledgeing it but ever since the proof of vaccine requirement was implemented, NO ONE is coming in to the venue, NO ONE. Even these ultra liberal far left types don't like this and won't participate. Even if they took the vaccine. They don't support the vaccine passport, and they are just quietly not participating in it. Without saying a word.
