Pressure in Africa-Iberia plate boundary
While following Cumbre Vieja I learned a lot about plate tectonics.

Here is what I am seeing

And also this because whenever I talk about this there is always someone saying that it's not related.

Almost as if the Atlas Mountains where pressing on the Iberian plate.
And ALBORÁN SUR with countless strong quakes these past days is the biggest pressure point.

....
Nothing to see here.
Everything is fine.

Re: Pressure in Africa-Iberia plate boundary
The African plate moves north so it pressures the boundaries with the european one, this is why we have earthquakes around Spain-Portugal, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in Italy and earthquakes in Greece, especially the ones around Crete.
But i read that the African plate itself experiences pressure and will finally split in two main parts (north and south) and maybe a lot of small ones in between.

Looks like it's all related.
Isn't ALBORÁN SUR a super volcano?

The magma at La Palma and other volcanoes connected to the big magma chamber are all showing changes. Harmonic tremors are seen on the graphs for the other canary islands. They may not be big harmonics but you can see it's all connected.

Glad to see you made this separate thread, Inerone.

There are 2 volcanos on the Altas mountains (Morocco).

Are the Atlas Mountains volcanic?

It includes the Djebel Siroua, a massif of volcanic origin with the highest summit of the range at 3,304 m.
The Jebel Bani is a much lower range running along the southern side of the Anti Atlas.

Refuges main route is way east in the mediterranean

Northern Africa won't fall to the ocean. I am sorry but that's dumb.

Whatever is happening here is happening at tectonic level.
It's way over my head....
And for what I can research.. We have little knowledge of the tecnotic details in the oceans

Searching in Portuguese I can find that there are a lot more tectonic flaw than I ever dreamed of

There was a huge earthquake (at least 8.4... ) in Portugal in 1755.

Each country has its own research and seismometer system. I guess we haven't forgotten that quakes are bad.

Less than 50%
"The Atlas Mountains were shaped by geological processes at work over hundreds of millions of years. One key step occurred in the early Jurassic Period (201 to 174 million years ago), when many of the world’s continents were still bunched closely together following the breakup of the supercontinent Pangea. This part of Morocco fell within the African plate, near a boundary with the Eurasian and North American plates. As the three plates separated, the crust thinned so much that a tear opened up and formed a rift valley that eventually filled with ocean water.

As the crust thinned and the rift opened up, large blocks of Earth’s crust dropped downward, creating broad valleys known as (grabens). Grabens have elevated blocks at their edges called horsts that became fault-block mountains. These mountains were pushed up even higher during a later phase of intense mountain building in the Cenozoic (66 million years to present), spurred by the collision of African and Eurasian tectonic plates."

Re: Pressure in Africa-Iberia plate boundary
there is a plate that runs north to south of the whole African continent that has never been active.

Its going to open up and become a oceanic divide soon. Once its splits enough the ocean water rushing in will finish the job. thousands of miles of land from north to south will become sponge like really fast and just cave away into new ocean.

Major cities will be completely removed at once. It will end up being the deepest ocean trench on the earth. This is going to cause a massive displacement of water globally .... just saying... New land will form in some places while others are covered by water.

Its also going to change the tilt of the earth slightly and the moon will change to a new orbit around the earth.

This is going to replace the need for the earth to do a pole reversal.

Thats whay I am reading here
I fear that the pressure that we are witnessing may trigger a large quake along the plate boundaries
At least whenever a "expert" explains how the plate grind, overlap submerge and whatnot over millions and milions of years, there are huge quakes in all that million year talk.

I haven't had much time today but I noticed these two

As you know or may have come to realize by now, each country has its own seismometers and can ear quakes that happen nearby.
Big quakes will travel further with enough intensity to be detected far away (bigger the quake, further the distance)

Mud volcanoes, ill add this here too for future reference, superheated water rising up out of the seabed. The whole place has crust thinned to like 7KM instead of more like 37km.
