This time we get a Vietnam’d - we ran away from Afghanistan for two reasons (1) to be ready to redeploy assets to Taiwan and (2) to entice China into splitting their war assets between picking up the attractive pieces let behind in Afghanistan (along with kicking us in the dignity) and their expansionist efforts in the South China Sea
