The image of the asteroid impact is waaaay too unrelated to the topic of Northern Rock to NOT be some kind of a predictive psy-op mind-fuck.

There's really no other good explanation for why it's there.

This is quite terrifying.

If it is an analogy playing on Northern 'Rock' name it is a poor one. Northern Rock crashing. Asteroid 'rock' crashing. Really it is a long stretch if that is what is implied.

The interesting part of it for me, was not the image of the rock racing towards us, but the Big one getting smashed first, and fragmenting into loads of pieces.
