China has won the AI battle against the US - Pentagon ex-software chief
Surprised? I am NOT.

By happenstnace a few years ago I ended up spending a few days while on vacation associating with at dinner with a Pentagon "cyber expert" ... sheesh, the person while nice was just a run of the mill "do it by the book" typical lifetime government bureaucrat. NOT a creative or thinker type at all.

He didn't have the computer software smarts that a typical high school computer nerd does, and HE was in charge of a large number of computer so called "experts" below him that were providing "computer security" for part of the US government.

Remember a few years back when the Chinese Government got the ENTIRE payroll list of everyone employed by the US Government ... including everyone at the CIA including our SPIES who we paid in cash? (have to give those spies 1099's so they pay their US taxes on time!! I guess)

This article is NO revelation to me ... but might be to some of you RAH RAH types who think the US is ON TOP of and THE BEST at everything dealing with military security. China is eating our lunch there, except at spying on individual US citizens en mass which the US Government does quite well at.

Nicolas Chaillan: US cyber defenses in some government departments were at "kindergarten level."

China has won the artificial intelligence battle with the United States and is heading towards global dominance because of its technological advances, the Pentagon's former software chief told the Financial Times.

China, the world’s second largest economy, is likely to dominate many of the key emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, synthetic biology and genetics within a decade or so, according to Western intelligence assessments.

Nicolas Chaillan, the Pentagon's first chief software officer who resigned in protest against the slow pace of technological transformation in the US military, said the failure to respond was putting the United States at risk.

"We have no competing fighting chance against China in 15 to 20 years. Right now, it’s already a done deal; it is already over in my opinion," he told the newspaper. "Whether it takes a war or not is kind of anecdotal."

A Pentagon official said he resigned because US cybersecurity is no match for China, calling it 'kindergarten level'

Nicolas Chaillan served as the US Air Force's software chief and worked on Pentagon security.

He quit in September and told the Financial Times last week that the US was far behind China on AI.

"We have no competing fighting chance against China in fifteen to twenty years," he said.

A senior cybersecurity official at the Pentagon said he quit because he thought it was impossible for the US to compete with China on AI.

The US government and military is too busy hiring exotic people with no skills to "diversify" the workplace.

the clintons took the money , pulled china out of the stone age, (DE-INDUSTRIALIZED AMERICA )by giving them most favored trade status and selling them millions, (yes, millions) of American factories made by Americans with American steel, trained them on how to operate, run and maintain every last one of them and then the technology transfer by way of deleted emails, open access to off site servers, etc., build back better, what a bunch of bull crap. enjoy the open borders, just like nazi occupied Poland , with your ; ARTICLE 48
