Anyone ever had to take a breathalyzer/UA testing for alcohol for probation? | |

(the test checks for creatinin in the urine, to make sure the test is not diluted, these vitamins have that, you need that, if you dilute yourself) this WILL allow you to pass. |

The first time he fired a nail through his hand with a nail gun. The second time he cut his leg open with a circular saw. The third time he slammed his truck into a tree in reverse. The 4th time he was out of ideas so he called a suicide hotline and got himself placed into a psych ward. |

Alcohol leaves the body quicker than any drug but you don't want to drink TOO much water because the tests are designed to show deliberate dilution and they'll make you come back. Consider cutting back on your drinking with other healthy distractions. Learn how to make bread or something. I know we're all bored to death but it's possible! |

Modern UA for ethanol detects the metabolite, ETG. That sticks around for awhile after the alcohol has been processed. |

Modern UA for ethanol detects the metabolite, ETG. That sticks around for awhile after the alcohol has been processed. Came here to say this. Alcohol tests are called the 72 hour test because the metabolite stays in your system for 72 hours. Be honest with the officer and don't waste their time. |

You need 16 hours to be clear and even then the UA testing might pick up residual trace amounts. If you do fail, be "honest" with the probation officer and say you had a argument with (fill in the blank) and you were emotional and made a bad mistake and drank some. If the person isn't a complete dick, he/she may let you slide. For future reference, don't drink so much before a probation appointment when you know they are going to test you. |

If you value your time outside a jail cell, that's the best advice. |
