I did this, 34 days ago I moved to Oklahoma. They reopened the state far sooner than even Florida and Texas. Got a lot more house for my money too.

As an additional bonus I don’t have to worry about my two young boys being taught theiy are inherently evil because of the color of their skin and people around here don’t believe that biological males can have babies.

And NH… just this week gov. Sununu showed his true cards….

I would do neither.
I would buy and move and then sell.

BTW, moving isn't like buying a cheeseburger at Sonic.
Moving takes a good bit of time. For example, when you buy a house, you don't simple show up in Columbia, <every state> with a pile of cash and move in. If you have cash, it usually takes 30 days. If you don't, it is longer - which means that if you buy now, you are waiting until spring to move.

Home prices are going up and availability is slim.

If you buy the new home now, it will be cheaper than in the spring. And then when you sell your existing house later, you will get more for it.

Buy low, sell high.

I was going to sell my home and investment properties in the NY/NJ area to move this year but the markets was crazy....people were buying home online before I can see them.....prices were crazy too....realtors told me to wait a year for the market to stabilize....

Sell whenever you feel like it. But I wouldn’t sell unless I had already closed on a better house. You can get all the money in the world, and then find out there’s nothing available to buy.
