DC's Reagan airport shuts down 2/3 runways--Biden's Capitol Bldg Police Memoriam just hours earlier.

I wonder if there are people who attended the Memoriam today at the Capital Building-- numbering in what looked-to-me like thousands... and the shutdown of most of the CD airport?

I wonder why they would shut it all down risking flight delays nationwide for one hard landing.

Why are we not seeing pictures on-location of the people deboarding and being tended to if injured?

How many hard landings are there per year in the US?... of big jets?

And how hard is hard?

Recall that DC is it's own city-state not part of the USA, technically-- as a result of some historical incident that separated it. It's like the city-in-a-city of Vatican City and City of London. DC is like those.
