thats because i live in oklahoma we never really bought into the BS here. it has been life as normal for the last 16 months here. we locked down for about 3 months then went back to normal. i suspect SHTF will come here fairly late in the game. until then i just live my life like i always have.

As a combat vet I’m here to tell you that a light is only going to piss someone off and make things worse on yourself.

You have two options in the real world.
1. Submit and surrender
2. Defend yourself, and use deadly force if necessary.

If you’re not a warrior in your heart (meaning you don’t have principles or convictions) then you’re basically fucked. Prostrate yourself and take it deep.

If you’d rather die than be a slave bitch to some criminals then there are many other passive options you can use besides lighting a fucker up, which 98% of you won’t actually be able to do when the time comes.

Block off your property with a fence or some other barricade and put up warning signs. That’ll be your legal disclaimer. I used a tractor to dig my tiger pits deep. Deep enough to not climb out of. There’s about 4 feet of water at the bottom for the hypothermia factor. If things get bad I have sharpened rebar beds I can place in there. You don’t have to go to extremes though. Simple knee deep concealed potholes in your yard will break an intruder’s ankle with the right preparation. You just need to block a driveway and reroute them through the pothole field.

Another option is a heavy spring loaded steal bar that swings down from a porch rafter in front of your doors that can be a river from a lanyard inside the house. This way if a bear or some other predator is at your door you can yank a rope and smash it’s skull. Even a couple of bears if necessary. I have a 2 inch by 5 foot steel bar spring loaded on each end with an old motorcycle suspension spring. It’s hidden above some flimsy decorative shit, will snap down with huge force, and easily kill a deer or bear. I won’t even use that door because it scares me.

Anyway those are a couple options if you live where predators might show up.

Just from the design of that, it is not that bright. True high output flashlights with 1/20th that rating have single lens all glass optics. That thing would blowtorch at that rating, or even 1/20th of it.

Non lethal? Wtf... when that day comes you better take a stand cause your ass is going to a camp. All parties can visit god before the day is over...
