Astromut, I have a serious question for you

According to big bang theory, space is expanding, and began around 14 billion years ago....they get that date from 'rewinding the clock' to when all the matter in space was close together

So....my question is...

When we look through a telescope to galaxies billions of light years away....how come all the galaxies we see through the telescope are not all closely packed together, but still spread out all over the sky...round us...over us...at the back of us...everywhere...

Surely they should all be close together at one single point, or close to it....hmm
 Quoting: Brit Perspective

I think you're operating with the unstated assumption that the universe is not expanding in all directions over time, rather than spreading out from a single point.
 Quoting: Astromut

No idea what you meant by that, but I don't think you answered the question

Nevermind
 Quoting: Brit Perspective

If all points in space are all getting farther from each other over time, then there is no central point where if you look back in time you'll see a clump in just one direction.

watch the white 'orb' appear from behind the larger translucent red eclipser to the immediate right of the 'plane'.

I see a strobe light on the plane. If you want to point out something else, YOU take a screenshot and highlight it instead.

Ignore the plane. cover it with your finger if you have to.

the objects are to the immediate right of the plane.

the eclipser moves at the same speed as the moon and stars, revealing a white stationary geese orb

you're getting warmer.

The red eclipser reveals the stationary 'flare'.
A lens flare would move with the time lapse...

It literally appears from behind

Not necessarily. Your other moon time lapse exhibits the same phenomenon, you just haven't stacked it the same way.

Re: Tracking NASA's Lucy Spacecraft from launch out to the moon
what will you do when i post impossible views with the zoom lens across 22-40 miles of water to the shoreline at sea LEVEL?

my goal is clear video of the Farallon Islands from the Berkeley shoreline.
I'm waiting for a clear morning after a storm.

A forty mile 'long shot' should have 1066.6 feet of globe curvature.
the islands are 106 feet tall.

What will you say, then?

Probably kick you off my threads for derailing and debunk your bullshit to boot. Tell me, where is the bottom of the rocket and the drone ship it landed on?

That flare stays right there until the moon leaves that area along with pretty much all of its glare and then the flare gradually fades out from left to right:

It's probably dust in the imaging train that is reflecting the moonlight when the angle is right. That's why it's taking on a circle of confusion shape. I bet if you put a square shaped aperture mask over the lens and left the iris fully open, you would get a square shaped flare in the sky at those times.
