Here's what needs to be explained. The archaic monuments still use solstice and equinox sunlight as they were designed and constructed to do AND some of them are 30, 40 perhaps 80,000 years old.

How can they still be using sunlight if the plates are drifting/shifting/moving?? It doesn't take much of an earth shift for the due east/due west Equinox sunrises and sunsets to be off for the sun/shadow play to not function properly.

It's just not possible for the monuments to remain in alignment with the sun over vast periods if plates are actually moving - especially how they are shaped. This also dispels any ancient crustal displacement theories such as Charlie Hapgoods.

I think what is really happening is Earth expands and contracts (rises and lowers) and the areas on the map are not necessarily moving plate boundaries, rather the places where Earth can expand and contract.

Water levels rise and fall with ice cycles and the planet spins and bulges at the center and so water displacement can fool people.

There will come other types of doom to be cognizant of.
