Have you overcome the world yet?

These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
John 16:33


The tribulation is to teach us how to overcome.
to overcome takes great skill and understanding.
it is necessary to learn how to overcome,
so that no matter which world we are in the next,
we shall overcome that one too.
especially if that world is hell.

Hell is not difficult to imagine.
in hell no one knows at first that they are really in hell.
It took Yeshua 3 days to overcome.
yet on earth, Yeshua could in an instant overcome.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar,
he said, It is finished
and he bowed his head,
and gave up the ghost.
John 19:30

what a skill to overcome instantly and on command!
most people would be alive on the cross for at least 3 days, before finally succumbing.
yet for Christ, it was a mere 6 hours and on a switch!
I shouldnt have to explain how important this switch is.
Which is why we're being taught how to use it.
except we all can't be on the cross for three days..
hence the purpose of the tribulation,
is to mimic a crucifixion scenario,
so that the whole can be taught how to overcome.

the switch seems to be alikened to drowning.
where there is absolute peace.
before someone drowns,
they learn to overcome WITHOUT choice!
yet after they overcome, and are still alive for a few moments,
they say that this is the most peace you will ever find on earth.

We have this information, because cold water preserves drowned victims well,
sometimes they are resuscitated and come back to tell the same story as all drowned resuscitated people do.

That there is absolute peace.

the victims all say that eventually they got so tired that they simply gave up and overcame the world.
They all said that there was an unfounded peace that followed.
This came with letting everything go!
For they all said that once they gave up and knew they were finished, extreme peace ensued them.
Many go on to speak of the tunnel and the light that looks like a billion diamonds that happens after they "die",
but that's for another thread.

therefore if we practice imagining these happenings for ourselves, we begin practicing the art of overcoming.

the main proponents to this practice, is letting it all go.
Peace will fill the gap.
Essentially saying if we learn to let things go, we will have peace on earth.

The great benefit to this practice is that when it is time for us to let it all go,
we will be ready and will be able to go on a switch,
just like Christ did.

Much of this resonates with the great flood of Noah.
to where practically the whole world had drowned and they/we were all directed to experienced this peace on earth.
whether we wanted it, or not.

yet we do not need to be flooded or drowned to experience this,
all we need to do is seriously imagine it.
imagine being on the bottom of a lake, and letting it all go!
is probably why baths are so enjoyable,
for we are 1/2 drowned in baths.

Peace and "letting go"(overcoming) are directly proportional,
like intelligence and awareness are directly proportional,
an increase in one will mean an increase in the other.
