That is why I stopped selling on eBay years ago, even when eBay still owned PayPal. If any complaint happened on a sale, not only did they take the money from you, they froze your checking account completely until the case was solved. Bunch of corrupt bullshit!

Yup, you have to open up an entirely separate checking account to use eBay now. If you don't want them to access the rest of your money that is.

I created a new account with my bank with a separate account number. I didn't want them to have access either.

I sold almost 30K of stuff in a couple of weeks on ebay and the only problem I had is they were trying to do to much. If they would have left it alone, everything would have went smooth but no. Ebay sucks and they all do

They had a great platform In the later 90's ~ early 2000's made a fortune, allowed others to succeed running Business' via them ... then got greedier and greedier as the years rolled on until the Business' they reli on can no longer turn a profit with their bullshit.

When you are making a purchase you can still use paypal
What you are referring to is with selling , when you make a sale it no longer goes to your paypal account balance but instead they send it directly to your checking or savings account . All selling fees come out of your sales automatically . They really have no reason to take money from you since it's all automated now . They need that info for selling though . You should be fine unless you owe them for something

ebay deleted all my listings and blocked my selling accounts when i wouldn't sign up to there stupid manage payments a few months ago .

I did this. Mostly small transactions as a part timer. Summer probably came and I took a break from ebay. There was some chargeback nonsense that I didn't catch for a few weeks, and they where hitting my account several times a day causing some insufficient funds penalty and I racked up thousands of dollars in fees. way more in fees than I ever sold.

I don’t have any issues. I sell on eBay every single day.

Just withdraw all but $10.00 after they make a deposit.

When I buy on Ebay, I still pay through PayPal. Then I have six months to dispute things if Ebay doesn't make it right.

Hey ass wipe I sold over 20 of these for over $2000 each. I could have gotten $8000.00 each if I would have sold them when I got them (2 months earlier). In linked it to my bank account for those transactions. So fuck off tard.
